Philips HeartStart Home and OnSite AED Defibrillator Long Life Replacement Battery, M5070A

We wanted to replace our defibrillator battery with one that is of an OEM quality. The battery has a future use by date of 6 years from now and the defibrillator went through the testing process very well.

I fell for the cheap substitute, telling myself ,"Why pay so much more?' The low-cost substitute lasted for three months. If you want your battery to last years instead of months, pay the price. When I complained about the poor performance of the cheap battery to the manufacturer, the reply was, Don't install the battery until you need it."

Holy cow, this AED beeps every 10 seconds once the battery goes low! Glad to get this replacement battery, although it’s pricey.

Seller delivered item as expected; it was packaged well and is as described.A bit on the expensive side, but works as expected and the last one that I purchased lasted quit a long time, but failed to label when I installed it. This time I did so I wouldn't forget when I installed it.

I suppose these batteries work well. I have a home defibrilator, but I've never had to use one. I also hope I never have to use one, and I'm getting to the point where I don't want to be resuscitated if I ever have an incident, and the price of these batteries will weigh in my decision. I wish the companies selling the batteries would also offer ways of recycling them.

We have not needed to use them, but have security of mind knowing we have one at home and one at our church.

I purchased 2 of these long life batteries with 4 year warranty. Soon as they arrived, I put them in my Phillips AED. The first one passed the self check no problem. However the second failed multiple times indicating "Low battery, replce battery". I immediately got on to my amazon account to request a replacement. Nor replacement or return is an option. What am I supposed to do with what's supposed to be a brand new long life battery that is dead? Again, I purchased two of these. The one passes the self test no problem. The second failed every time. I call Amazon who advised that these batteries are non returnable. So now I have to get with the company directly, or try to figure out how to use the four warranty. Very frustrating! In the meantime I have a AED that is down.

Needed a replacement battery after several years. Easy to swap. Solid instructions. Back in business with the AED!
