Clarks Women's Adriel Viola Dress Pump

Though my wife usually has problems with high heels (shoe bites, foot pain). In general, she's someone who finds it difficult to find the right pair of shoes, even with flats. Surprisingly, she finds this pair very comfortable to wear, even for an extended period. She wears this often, even for daily use. One noticeable feature of this pair of shoes, and other Clarks shoes as well is that the back edge of the shoe that covers the ankle and Achilles’ heel has cushioning which prevents the back of your heel from getting hurt due to friction while walking. It is this attention to detail that makes the shoe much more comfortable than your average shoe. The price was also very good for real leather. We would definitely recommend this pair.

I was hesitant about ordering this shoe. It's not really my style as a younger woman, but I needed a professional multi purpose heel and this is it. It is true to size, comfortable, and non slip. I highly recommend this shoe.

OK, so I'm almost seventy, but still like a NICE looking heel for certain dressy occasions. BUT they have to be WEARABLE. As in I want to be able to wear them at least four or five hours and to be able to stand in them!HERE ARE MY PROS AND A COUPLE CAVEATS for the 8.5 BLACK PATENT AND THE REGULAR BLACK LEATHER (GOT BOTH :-))PROS:QUALITY - REALLY like the quality of these. They came from ZAPPO'S, so can't speak to what you may get from a different vendor. INSIDE is great, just enough cushion and support.PRICE - I got these when they were about forty bucks, GREAT DEAL for CLARK'S and for my one DRESSY pair of heels. QUALITY, LOOKS AND GREAT PRICE.LOOKS - OK I didn't think THIS was possible. Because of the small platform at the front, for a heel that is this high, these are COMFY and easy to wear. I don't feel I am TOTTERING on them. I LOVE they don't look like old lady heels! THESE would be great for any special occasion you needed something a bit dressy.FIT - I found these true to size, I wear an 8.5 in just about anything but flip flops, but GET READY FOR A COUPLE CAVEATS AND SOME ADVICE BELOW!CAVEATS AND ADVICE for those of you who may have ANY foot issues:I have bunions. MODERATE, but DEFINITELY THERE. AND I broke my toe next to my big toe, so it sticks UP a bit and can rub on just about any pair of shoes or boots so I put a SILICONE TOE SLEEVE ON IT (otherwise it will rub and bleed). Those silicone toe sleeves are GREAT if you have a toe or toes that stick up from being broken, corns and VARIOUS VENDORS sell on AMAZON.IN SPITE of the bunions, THIS SHOE FITS (and I didn't get a WIDE, just a regular 8.5). NOW, the toe that sticks UP, NO SHOE can really accommodate that, that's where the silicone toe sleeve comes in to keep it from rubbing.BLACK PATENT isn't QUITE as comfy as the regular leather and won't stretch like regular leather, but do a wee bit (FYI, for the PATENTS, if you put them on and put your hair dryer on LOWEST WARM setting and run back and forth, again on lowest WARM setting, it softens them up and helps stretch a bit). I THOUGHT of trying these in a wide, but that wouldn't really help the toe that sticks up, so staying with the regular 8.5. IN SPITE of some toe issues, I have a fairly narrow foot. YOU MAY WISH to try a wide and the regular and send back whichever one doesn't work.OVERALL, I GIVE THIS A RESOUNDING FIVE! At my age, with my foot issues, to be able to WEAR this shoe (not sure I would want to WALK IN IT FOR HOURS, but that goes for MOST FLATS AND HEELS) and not be in pain? To get this quality at this price?IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A NICE, YET COMFY, DRESS SHOE, TRY IT. You can also return them and I can't imagine any heel this high being as comfortable as these are!

Although the shoe is very elegant, I would have like the heel about a half inch shorter. Overall though, good quality and very attractive.

The perfect staple shoe. Not sure if it’s real leather. It doesn’t have the strong scent of leather that i like. But they seem really well made and are labeled as leather. I was looking for a pair of shoes for most of dresses and clothes to simplify my life. I don’t like having a closet full of shoes nor do I like to shop too much. So I’m glad these can dress up my outfit and are SO comfortable. While it doesn’t have high arch support, my feet feel quite supported and comfortable. I will say, I ordered a 1/2 size up in case I needed insoles for support. I didn’t need any support and they shoe was the perfect fit. So it might run a smidge small, maybe.Summary: Easily a whole day wear (and night) kind of shoe. For work, for parties, or simply to feel more put together on a lunch date with the husband. Minimal, comfortable, elegant, and versatile. What more can you ask? Highly recommend!

Ordered a size 5.5 wide fit because I’m on my feet all day but they sent a size 5 which is ok for occasional wear ... at least it’s a wide fit but could have done with the extra .5 Took a while to arrive and I needed them so having to make do. 🤷‍♀️ Shoes are lovely tho.

Continuing to enjoy high heels into your sixties it's great with some extra comfort. This what was I looked for and also got with this shoes.

Wow ! Je les adore ! Ils sont vraiment très confortables. Je n’ai jamais ete a l’aise dans des souliers à talons, c’est vraiment les seuls que j’arrive a porter. Bon support de l’arche du pieds, grandeur conforme, talon pas trop mince donc souliers très stables.

Received in July 2021 - size 9W black patent. Firstly, the patent leather doesn't feel like leather, more like plastic. Secondly, the upper box cuts into the arch - if you have a high arch, you would have the same problem. They are also narrower that expected for Clarks wide fit pumps. The most annoying part was that they are very unstable - something is wrong with the construction...I was very disappointed because I used to have a similar model (but not this one) and it fit as a glove. I do not recommend these shoes in black patent.

They're heels, there's no escaping that. But as heels go, they are the most comfortable pair I've ever worn. Ever. I love them.I also love how they look. The heel offers support without being chunky. I dislike stilettos, so these are perfect. Just perfectly inbetween chunky and needle. The leather is soft, not rigid. No blisters (I wore them for hours), and heels always give me blisters. The front is raised just a little, so it's not as steep as they appear. Great shoe.
