Great screws at a good price
I ran out of screws the other day and had to buy a box at the local hardware store, it was a painful experience. I had to pay 50 percent more for half as many screws so I vowed not to let that happen again. I got this nice box of 300 screws, which as an amateur should last me a good while. I have been surprised at how fast I go through pocket hole screws but at 4 screws per piece of wood it adds up quick when building cabinets. I really appreciate that these screws use the same square drive as the original Kreg screws. I got some aftermarket screws with Torx heads and they were much more difficult to drive, the square drive really seems to be the best. These are working great for me and I'm not thinking about the cost of each one I install any more.

Only time will tell...
I requested these pocket hole screws to use for building wood frames to go over large window wells. The corrosion resistant finish on the screws should help to resist moisture when the wood is wet. The frames will be made from 2 x 4 and 2 x 6 lumber and then have stainless steel wire used on top to keep raccoons and other woodland critters from falling down the window wells. These screws certainly can also be used for building cabinet face frames and other large, heavy frames.I am concerned that the screw shank seems to be smaller in diameter than the #8 screw size. We'll see if I snap them during construction. If there are any issued, I will come back and edit this review.Another odd thing is their packaging. I just wrote a review on some other screws that came in a nice, square container. These screws are packaged in a flat plastic container that would be better suited to holding coins. I have never seen screws packaged in such a manner.

Quality Outdoor Coated Pocket Screws
These blue coated pocket hole screws come in a 300-pack of #8 x 2" coarse thread. The blue coating covers the entire screw and is smooth with no dimples or blemishes I could find. The coarse threading, square head, and washer are what one would expect from these pocket screws. I typically use many more 1-1/4" pocket screws, but for my outdoor project that has 1" thick wood pieces, these 2" pocket screws worked really well, and I expect the coating to hold up just fine as they are very similar to high quality blue coated pocket screws I have used in the past. The included 4" square bit served its purpose just fine and it is nice to have an extra square bit on hand. I am quite pleased with the quality and quantity versus the value.

They worked well for me
"These are pocket hole screws, some people seem to confuse them with regular screws. You are supposed to use them with a pocket hole jig. These seem to be good screws. I needed some outdoor rated ones for a bench I was making. These have a blue coating to protect the metal screws from corroding. Time will tell how effective and long lasting the coating is but they had good grip and I had no trouble driving them in the the 2x4s. They worked well for me."

Great price for bulk pocket screws
A ton of 1" pocket hole screws, this length is suitable for use with 1/2" sheet goods. Coating is well applied, making these screws suitable for both indoor and outdoor use (exposed to the elements). At under 4 cents each, price is great - half what name brand sells for. Comes with a 4" square drive bit. I generally prefer torx over square drive, but all pocket hole screws use square drive and it's better than Phillips or slot drive at least.

Well made and finished, but not much larger…
I’ve used untold thousands of flathead screws of all lengths, but this is the first time I have bought round headed screws with the formed in “washer”. My logic was that they would be useful in fewer situations, but that the larger head size would come in handy for some things; which it would, if they were actually larger. The fact is they are only a tiny bit wider than standard flathead screws. They are nicely made, well finished screws, so I’ll find uses for them, I’m just a bit disappointed that they don’t have a larger bearing area at the back of the head.

Seem to be super strong
Okay, I no longer have any excuse not to repair our broken dining room table, or our wobbly wooden chairs, or our wooden bannister, or the bed frame in the spare bedroom, or...Yes, these screws are very impressive. Narrower than I expected, but they appear to be super strong; impossible to bend, and so far unbreakable. They come with their own bit since the square head is rather uncommon. I will have to make sure to not lose that drill bit. It might be easy to hold onto, as it is magnetic. So far, zero complaints and quite impressed.
