NOT WATERPROOF
They write really well, good coverage. Tips are nice and for black and white art or other uses can be really good. Absolutely NOT waterproof! I bought them for use in my watercolor art. They will smudge if you lean your hand on them and can not paint over or use markers, anything wet on them. They have been great for final outlines so you be the judge based on your needs.
