Love It, A Classic
Not sure why really but have always loved Soreen Malt Loaf, decently priced even though it did used to be £1 but they're again everything has shot up these days. But something satisfying with a couple of slices with nice butter on them, chewy, malty and delicious snack. Will definitely buy again.

Eternally delicious. The taste of my childhood.
Did these used to be bigger? Maybe I was smaller? A couple of slices of this with a good spread of salted butter and a cup of tea brings one just a little closer to heaven. It is the chewiness I remember. It has to go in the Top Tens of childhood treats. Not the easiest bread to slice, and the sliced version tends to the dry side, so not good. I haven't tried, but I'm sure I could eat a whole one of these in one go. Lovely.
