A Nice Twist On the 3x3 Cube
I saw this Twist 3x3 stickerless cube and thought it looked like a wonderful variation on the traditional 3x3 puzzle cube. It arrived in a day in a very unassuming package. I solved it a couple times already and really enjoy the added challenge of getting the pieces aligned. It solves like the traditional 3x3, but may take you a little longer for your first solve. For my third solve I encountered a parity error where one of the middle cubes is reversed. I believe this just adds to the challenge. The cube is not as sturdy as many of my other cubes and I attribute that to the twist in the design. This does not bother me because I am careful when twisting. If not solved, I doubt it would survive a drop on a hard floor. There are just too many angles where if hit could cause it to break.I would hesitate to call this a speed cube as you have to make sure you align the pieces accurately before twisting. It will not fall apart twisting against the alignment, but I can see how one solid twist without the correct alignment might turn it into a handful of pieces. It is also somewhat challenging because your fingers and seek purchase on a flat surface and the twist adds another dimension of tactile surface causing some misalignment. This just requires a slight adjustment to accommodate the difference.I still give this cube 5 stars as despite the fact it is more fragile than a typical stickerless speed cube, it is well crafted, and as long as you do not drop it or twist against the alignment will provide a fun challenge to your puzzle cube collection or make a nice challenging gift.

Very nice with one caveat
It's funny to learn another cube variant. Definitely mind bending at first, though the steps are actually the same as the 3x3 cube. The main caveat is I don't find it very pleasurable to play with. This variant inherently more fragile and it's relatively easy to mis-turn pieces.

Neat and difficult 3x3 cube variant
This is a great cube, and its non-traditional shape means that it's harder to solve. You can mostly solve it, but if not done correctly you can get what appear to be parity errors. I haven't spent enough time with the cube to know if they're true parity errors (basically happen when 2 or more edges either look identical or could be placed in any orientation). This means when you get nearer the end, things don't solve properly (like one edge is out of place and you can't figure out why. Also, four of the center squares have two colors, which adds another wrinkle. It's an enjoyable cube, and a novel one.The cube itself is OK constructionwise. I did pop out a piece and had to reassemble it (easy enough). I think the design makes it prone to this and it's not shoddy. I think one has to solve it carefully though, not a speed cube but the action is smooth and agreeable. Finally, I really prefer stickerless cubes and this one is all good there. In summary - a great cube or gift for the person who already has way too many cubes because it is different from the usual cube. It's inexpensive and I am very glad that I purchased it.

Feels fragile
It feels a little fragile like it might break if I go super fast with it, but other than that, it's a pretty good cube. the only other thing I would have to say is that the springs sound a little annoying. But this is a really creative cube so four stars for me. :)

Nice puzzle worthy of a better production
This is a nice puzzle that can more or less be solved like a 3x3 cube. Some extra challenge is presented by the dual-colored centers, which must be rotated to the right orientations. Unlike the traditional 3x3 cube, this puzzle can sometimes also present edge parities for even more additional challenge. What lets this production down is the lack of magnets or locking ball bearings to help the alignment of the layers in order to make turning easier. Because of the puzzle’s twisty shape, it wants to twist the layers out of alignment even as you try to turn it. (Those who have this puzzle will know what I mean by it’s instability). The puzzle needs a better production with magnets. Look to the Gan Mirror Cube as an example. I would be willing to pay extra for a better production, as I do love the puzzle. I do not love how hard it is to keep this puzzle in alignment in it’s current state.

Not for speed cubing, but otherwise a delight
This variation produces two important changes.1) the orientation of the center pieces on layer 2 becomes important, making the puzzle a tiny bit harder for the standard solution2) the orientation of the edge pieces on layer 2 becomes unimportant, making the puzzle a tiny bit easier. It was nice having to think about a cube in a novel way, since I haven't stepped into creative speed solutions yet. The solved puzzle feels nice because the facets are twisted and 2D planes stretched air 3D manifolds are inherently pleasing. But it's also much harder to resist an unsolved puzzle because there are jagged pieces all over itThe stems of the pieces are just a tiny bit rubbery so you can give the solved puzzle a little squeeze which feels nice, but i don't know if the manufacturer would like that. The down side is the jutting pieces can get kinda snapped out and rotated, resulting in an unsolvable puzzle. But it's also very easy to fix, you just rotate the piece back and that feels great too. This puzzle is not appropriate for speed cubing. But it's very appropriate for wistfully pondering the nature of shapes and space and having a great time. It's probably my favorite cube.
