Nature's Touch Citric Acid Pickle, 2 Pound Plastic Jar | CLN-163.00

Great pickling "acid." Eco-friendly and supposedly you can use any kind of tong with this stuff...but I still use copper. Once this is heated up, works like magic! Love this stuff.

I'm a full time jeweler and hate sparex/sodium bisulfate. This stuff works just as well even cold it's effective! I put a heaping tablespoon in a pyrex 2 cup measuring cup and it lasts for weeks! NO need for a pickle pot/crock pot to heat the pickle. If it doesn't clean it up I have an ultrasonic that gets the last of it but basic every days tasks it works just great!

I had my doubts but I wanted to be rid of the old pickle that had to be handled so carefully. This is great stuff. I think it works even better! It does take a little longer but it’s well worth the wait. My silver comes out so much cleaner than before

I bought this awhile ago, when I first started taking jewelry classes. I haven't really had to use it because I've been allowed in the studios to use theirs. Since the studios are shut down, I decided to use this instead of the vinegar and salt pickle that my professor was telling us about. We are learning about casting and had to clean freshly casted pieces and this worked wonders. The main thing to remember is to keep your pickle hot and it will work faster. But it really does work and it's safe enough to dispose of.

I bought this more ecologically safe pickle to replace my more acidic and therefore caustic jewelry pickle. Although it works well enough, it takes longer and is less efficient in removing the scorch than the regular pickle. If you’re trying to be more environmentally aware, this is a good substitute.

I am glad I bought this Nature'S Touch Citric Acid. I have used it after I solder Sterling silver , copper or brass jewelry pieces. It removes residue evenly and rather quickly. I always use pickle pot and warm it. I use one solution for several projects , so one 2 lb container will go a long way. Easy to dispose by adding baking soda. Will buy again

Mixed it up according to directions, no change in 2 hours. Added another scoop, no change in 2 hours. Added another scoop which is 3 times what it calls for, no change in 2 hours. Gave up. Added baking soda to neutralize it and it foamed all over making a mess.

Item works as stated. Did not arrive in a jar. Arrived in a ziploc bag, that was cut open and placed in another ziploc bag. Wondering if I order again, will it come in a jar as stated?
