Babys Rain Boots Girl's Waterproof Shoes (1-6 Years)

This is my second time purchasing these boots for my toddler. There are many identical boots in identical or differing colors being sold on Amazon, and the last time I bought the "Vine" boots, they had some made up, incoherent word for the logo on the side of the boots. This time, they say "Tree Grandpa," which is one of the other brands here on Amazon. I do not usually purchase random Chinese brands on Amazon, as I prefer to spend money on high quality products that are much more likely have good quality control and will more certainly wear well with time and use, but these boots are an exception. (In fact, I believe they may be the only exception...)The good:1. These boots are VERY lightweight and FLEXIBLE. Perfect for babies and toddlers as they truly need flexible soles, especially while they're learning to walk. They are also unusual in having a flat sole, rather than a heel, which is also important for babies and toddlers.2. These boots are easy for toddlers to slide on by themselves. My son simply holds onto something - a wall, his wardrobe, my leg or hand, etc. - and slides his feet into the wide boot shafts.3. These boots are surprisingly durable! Because my son can put them on completely by himself, he favors these for everyday wear. For the last six months he's worn his first pair several times a week and they still look to be in excellent condition. Granted, he's not particularly hard on his shoes, but I'm still surprised at how well they've held up.4. As one would hope, these boots are waterproof. My child's feet are never wet when he wears these. Puddle jumping worthy. And because they're all rubber on the outside, they clean off marvellously well.5. The price is pretty fantastic. Depending on the size and when one our bases these, I've seen these go for around $15-25. The lower end is unbeatable, the higher end is still cheaper than most and a fair price.The not-so-good:1. These boots have a strange fit. They're obviously not uncomfortable for my child, but they're rather long and somewhat narrow. If your baby or toddler still has very chubby feet, these may be uncomfortably tight around the width even if they are long enough.2. The insoles in the second pair I've purchased, the ones for which I'm currently writing this review, are millimeters too small for the boots, leaving a tiny gap around the edge of the insoles. Also, the insoles are not identically sized, with the heel of the left insole being smaller than the right. Neither of these things are deal breakers, but they're the kind of inconsistent quality issues that annoy me when I've spent money on a brand new product (as opposed to used or consigned). In this case it's a minor issue, but who's to say whether this pair of boots will be as durable as the first? If the quality isn't consistent, I feel like it's a gamble. Also, the slightly too small insoles will probably be uncomfortable after standing in them for long periods of time, as the foot will press against the edges and probably leave an indentation or a red mark.3. When they first arrive, these boots have a funny smell to them. It's not noxious or overly chemical, but it is mildly aggravating during the first few days of owning them.4. There's poor traction on these. We like to go on light, easy, toddler-friendly hikes. Our favorite has a little toddler "obstacle course" built out of fallen trees. If he wear these boots and the wood is even mildly damp (as it almost always is), his feet will slip and he will be unable to complete it. On level ground, these boots perform well.5. During hot summer days, these boots are a bit too warm. My son's feet may not get wet from puddles or rain, but they will sometimes end up soaked with sweat.6. These boots are a bit too easy to slide off. These often come off as my son gets into his car seat, as we pull his legs out of grocery carts, as we put him in or get him out of baby wearing wraps/carriers, if he trips from getting his foot caught, etc.In conclusion:These are a little cheap, but a worthwhile purchase. They work as they should (i.e. they keep a child's foot dry), and are durable enough to be outgrown.

Our son (3yo) grew out of his first pair of these boots during the fall so we waited until recently to buy a new pair. As soon as they came the other day he put them on all by himself and ran out the backdoor! He has been coming and and outside all day the last few days because he loves playing in his new boots so much! We have 4 kids with our oldest being 16 so we know what products are good and what products are not…these definitely are worth every penny! They are super easy for little ones to put on and take off by themselves. They form to their feet so they aren’t floppong around in them like alot or other childres rain boots. I also like that the tread isn’t chunky so mud doesn’t get all stuck inside the tread. We saved the last pair too pass down to our littlest and will do the same with these ones. Will keep buying a new pair every time they grow out them!

I looked everywhere trying to find thin and lightweight rain boots (not too tall) for my 2.5 year old mainly for puddle jumping. He hated all the other boots we tried because they were either too tall or too rigid. When I put these on him, he was starting to complain and realized these weren't like the others and stopped instantly and has since worn them a lot. they're easy to put on and take off. twice as expensive as the stuff I could find at the Wmart but they work.

These have been such a great little boot for my son. They are a little bit more loose than his other shoes of the same size. They stay on well when he’s on his feet, he just is able to kick them off when he’s sitting. They’re good on slippery surfaces, they’ve been worn all winter, and now in the spring mud and puddles and dirt, and show no wear other than a faint imprint on the insoles from his sweaty little feet. They are holding up wonderfully and he loves wearing them.

These are great for my toddler. I’m already on my second pair as she outgrew the first. They fit well, last through toddler wear and tear and are very affordable.

Cute, fun, and our daughter wears them everywhere!

J'adore ces bottes! Elles ont été livrées plus vite que prévu, elles sont flexibles (autant la semelle ainsi que le reste de la botte) ce qui permet un mouvement fluide et normal de marche. La taille est comme prévue (pas trop large à l'intérieur non plus). Elles viennent avec une petite semelle pour plus de confort. Elles ne sont juste de la bonne hauteure : mon garçon de 2 ans porte du 10 et mesure 36 pouces, le haut de la botte arrive environ 2 pouces en dessous de son genoux donc ça ne le gêne pas quand il marche ou s'accroupit.

Purchased these in the navy colour and they are perfect. They are very lightweight which makes them great for a one year old. Most other boots I looked at were heavier rubber with thick tread soles. So glad I found these on Amazon!

These are great little boots. My son loves them for jumping around in puddles or getting messy in the forest. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is they feel just a bit flimsy and could use a better feature for pulling on.

my 2.5 year old loves them, they aren't too tall which makes it easier for him to walk around in. The only complaint I have is the footbed liner is already separating/falling apart and he has only worn them 3 times.

These have held up GREAT and keep my kid's feet dry. They fit on the wide side which is nice for wearing warmer socks in cold rainy weather.
