YOU GUYS. I CAN NOT SERIOUSLY EXPLAIN HOW INSTANT THE SMELL WENT AWAY ITS UN REAL. I never do reviews but I was truly impressed by the way this cleaner removed the cat pee smell from my $3,000 couch. My cat peed on it and I had a company come and spray it with an odor neutralizer , payed about $130 and it smelled like pee+ essential oils. Then at last I came to Amazon and saw the reviews and I was like I have to try it. I’m so glad it killed the smell instantly even on the actual memory foam cushions. I was so sad I literally cried because this was our first couch we got brand new and I thought it was ruined. Truly a great product.

The Zero Odor Pet Odor Eliminator refill bottle meets and exceeds my expectations for a product that does remove cat urine odor as well as the male cats spraying on objects outside my home.It does not leave a lasting odor after it dries which is wonderful as I am sensitive to scented odors that are typical with other types of odor removing products. It does have an initial odor when it is applied but it soon dissipates.Even the cats don't object to objects treated with Zero Odor Pet Odor Eliminator. I will definitely purchase it again.

Only reason for 4 stars is the bottle is small for how expensive it is. Long story short, my husband rescued a kitten from his job and we couldnt get a neuter appointment as fast as we would have liked due to everything being booked up. I originally bought for my couch because it stink like pets and toddlers. It worked OK. Then this kitten started spraying in the house. We discovered one of our beds that had laundry on it was soaked in spray! All the way down to the mattress through the protective mattress topper! No wonder our house smelled! So i sprayed all that was left of this cleaner on my mattress and went to bed hoping our very expensive cal king was not ruined. I woke up this morning and the house didnt smell! The mattress has no smell either! Just smells like the cleaner faintly. I bought another bottle to have on hand because it worked so well! Im very impressed! I wish the bottle was bigger for how expensive it is.

This is a miracle product!!! We have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and an endless stream of foster cats that come through our house. To keep it short and sweet, we have struggled with animal smells, particularly cat pee, for YEARS. I was at my wit's end by the time I found this product. We tried everything: air purifiers, enzymatic pet sprays, daily mopping and scrubbing... you name it and we probably tried it. One spray of this product was all it took in most "problem" areas to completely get rid of smells. It's like magic in a bottle. I really can't believe it. The price point is a little steep, but honestly, SO worth it.

Works but leaves a bleach scent behind.

My dog had an accident on an expensive leather couch. It happened on a blanket and dripped into the crevice between the cushions... I didn't discover it until the next morning when it had completely soaked the underside of the couch. I used another popular brand that just masked the smell several times, tried vinegar, and was ready to waive the white flag. I ordered this on a whim and it worked. It has a chlorine smell that goes away after about 12 hours. When the chlorine smell fades, the odor is gone - like magic. I'm a huge fan of this product bc it actually works and doesn't have a fragrance of its own.

Only thing I have found to get rid of cat spray. 95% effective and easy on fabric.

Our cat has the stinkiest poops EVER (high protein diet), so aside from running an air purifier and cracking a window, I wanted to find an air freshener that would eliminate the smell from the air after she goes. I wanted to make sure it was pet-safe, and left no fragrance of its own. We had previously tried a “plant based” spray that worked great but unfortunately left behind a super floral perfumey odor that lingered, so next we decided to try this Zero Odor. I bought the “pet” version but honestly not sure if it’s just regular Zero Odor marketed as a different thing.***Packaging:White plastic bottle looks like typical “bathroom cleaning product” - wouldn’t necessarily want to leave it out. No leaks in shipping. The sprayer does a jet and a mist, but the nozzle isn’t labeled, so you’ll have to spray to find out which is which (odd). The spray pattern isn’t great either - since we’re primarily using this in the air I would prefer a fine mist but it kind of comes out half stream/half mist so I’ll probably have to end up putting this in my own sprayer bottle.***Scent:While claiming to be “fragrance free,” it does list “tracer fragrance” on the ingredients, which is meant to let you know where you’ve sprayed it and then dissipate quickly. Luckily I’m just sensitive to fragrances and not actually allergic, but if you have a fragrance allergy, I would say the marketing is a bit misleading because this certainly does contain fragrance! I sprayed into my office first to test the scent, and there’s definitely a generic perfumey “cleaning product” or “fresh clean” type of scent with a hint of chlorine when first sprayed - luckily it dissipates within 30-60 seconds or so from the air. I stepped out of the room, came back in about 30 seconds, and couldn’t smell it anymore. So at least it doesn’t linger.***Odor elimination:The big test came when our cat did her daily Dump of Doom. After scooping I sprayed this a couple times into the closet where we keep the litter box, then 3 times into the room outside the box which usually becomes uninhabitable for about an hour while we run the air purifier. After waiting about 30 seconds I went back in and would say it reduced the smell about 50%. Not a miracle but the fact that we could be in that room without holding our noses was miraculous. So I sprayed a second round which helped more but still not 100% elimination.***Overall:• It does eliminate odors from the air somewhat, but does take a lot of spraying to do so - about 12 sweeping sprays just for one room, and I'd say only 50-75% of the smell is eliminated• I can't speak to how well this removes odor from surfaces (like fabric) but I have to assume it does a better job there than in the air; as an air freshener, it doesn't seem to do the job well• DOES contain “tracer fragrance” but luckily it dissipates pretty quickly and doesn’t linger• Sprayer isn’t great; if you use this often, I’d probably buy the gallon-size refill and get a nicer bottle with a fine mist sprayerI'll probably be returning this - 12+ sprays just to eliminate the odor about 50% just isn't worth it for our purposes - it doesn't make me feel confident enough to have guests over if our cat dropped a bomb in their presence! So I'll be trying something else. Can't speak for how it works on surfaces, though.
