As is natural with this kind of bow some scary sounds are present when first stringing as everything sets in, within 200 shots smooth as a babys bottom and I have no problem speed shooting this bow, string serving is thin but I feel like this helps get rid of bad habits as it encourages good form as well as proper knocking technique and draw follow through,(I use wide nocks so there is no "click on" from the nock I rely thumb and slavic draw as these provide an almost instant window of the nock being placed on string, arrow drawn and shot)So far my fastest is 4 shots in five seconds as I can only get 3 arrows in my Bowhand at present,Shoots well even with carbon arrows and rubber vanes,50 pound draw it will not feel like it as this bow is short and snappy but it is definitely 50,Very good first eastern style trad bow

Beautiful bow. I ordered the 50 lb bow and measured the draw weight. The measurement was around 50 lbs (at 28 inches) which was a relief. Shoots really well and is light. Also I messaged the seller many times and they responded swiftly, which was reassuring. Got here the same day as estimated on my pages. Very happy with this purchase!

I had this bow for about a month and shot maybe 500 arrows.The bow is straight, fairly rigid and feels good in the hand.Easy to string , easy to shot. I have used carbon arrows taken from here as well.My bow meant to be 50 lbs at 28" draw, on my measurements after use, was a bit over 55. Not bad thing as it will loose poundage over time.The wear of the leather and string on the shooting side of the bow after only 500 arrows shot was something I did not like and for that is going back. The materials look nice but aren't really resistant to friction. That means , if I keep using the bow at the same rate, within three months I have to wrap it again. There are better made bows out there for similar price.

Not usually one to leave reviews, but this bow is a lot of fun and deserves one.I bought the 50lb Turkish Bow for my dad on fathers day, he is thoroughly pleased with it, we both are.We are novice archers (at best), but even we were able to consistently hit the target after an afternoons practice.A lovely light weight bow with plenty of power to not feel like a toy..the arrows that missed were stuck 2 to 3 inches convincingly into our solid wood back stop.If I am tempted into archery myself, I would not hesitate to purchase another one.

I love using this but its too small for me. It states the draw length is 28inches but that is done by the front of the bow to anchor and not the wingspan method which i used. I do love speed shooting with this though.

Hasn't broken yet and fired hundreds of arrows, very compact, works both left and right handed.

I'm not new to archery or to shooting Asian style bows. I am impressed with this little bow. I ordered one at 35lb. It looks good & is nicely finished. It shoots accurately & consistently, Mediterranean style or thumb release. First outing I shot 360 arrows no problem - 31" Carbon arrows - 700 spine - 300 grains. The poundage is a little under specification 32.5lb at 28" & only 26.2lb at my draw length. Seems quite fast for the poundage though. Quoted brace height is 5.7" I've taken all the twists out of the string & the lowest I can get it is 6.2". I emailed them for clarification & they said 6.1". Anyway it shoots fine at 6.2" ! Sleeve is nice. These are £110 from Ebay. I would recommend this bow, if you're wanting to try this kind of archery. Don't buy it though, if your draw length is more than 28" Average Arrow Speed at my draw length, is 145 FPS.
