The consonant 'fish' are coloured blue, whilst the vowels are red. The letters are in Infant Sassoon font. There are two levels of play for up to 4 players. In both games, all the fish are spread out onto a flat surface. Each child takes a fishing rod and a game board. In turn, each player catches the appropriately lettered fish in order to make up a word which is pictured on their board. The set comprises 55 magnetic fish, 4 magnetic fishing poles, 4 double-sided work cards and an instruction guide. Metal parts are made of special ferritic stainless steel, which won't rust in water or sand.
