Does as it says
Very quiet can hear the bubbles but can’t hear the pump chucks out plenty of air for a small pump arrived next day, only downside is the suction cup to stick it to the tank have to stick it back on once a week but very happy with the pump

icemoon Aquarium Air Pump Ultra Silent
The narrative is misleading. Although the pump is fairly quiet when not connected it gets much louder when the pipe is connected and the air stone is in the water. My sound Level Meter reads around 60 dBA. If you have some other background noise it might not bother you. It is however, not "Silent" as per the sellers claim. It is very small and can easily be fixed on the tank glass.

Very good pump for the price, but I'd give the check valve a miss.
The reason this only got 4 out of 5 stars was because the included check valve is absolute junk. In my case it restricted the airflow so much I actually thought I'd been sent a dud pump.So if you're planning on buying this then you may want to also pick up a better quality check valve, or just mount the pump above the waterline and do away with the valve entirely. That said, The pump itself is pretty good, especially at this price.Despite the claims it's not actually "silent", but it is incredibly quiet - In my case the bubbles it produces popping on the surface of the water were actually noticeably louder than the pump itself. There is a decent amount of flexible tubing included in the box, and the included air stone puts out a respectable amount of bubbles for its size.I never actually used the included thermometer - but it seemed reasonably solid, if a bit cheap.Overall it is a superb little pump for the price, and even with the dodgy valve I would still buy it again.

Near silent pump, terrible airstone.
The pump itself is small and by far and away the least noisy air pump I've ever used. Long cable, not as much air line as I would have liked but enough to get you started. The pump is surprisingly powerful, pushing more than enough air for most smaller tank needs. The valve to prevent syphoning doesn't work on mine either, echoing other reviews. This is fine for me due to tank location, but be careful. The air stone itself is near useless. Extremely noisy, and air only seems to come out of it right at the top near the joint for the airline. But mini air stones aren't expensive. If you are after an actual pump unit, can't go wrong with this. Just be careful on the valve and stone front.

It really is quiet!
It really is quiet! And small. I am so glad I bought this one rather than the expensive noisy traditional air pumps. At first the bubbles only came out of the beginning end of the stone, but, there was a small piece in the box that I couldn't find what to do with and it wasn't mentioned in the instruction booklet. Eventually I unscrewed the end and put it over the air output, then attached the air pipe back on. The bubbles came out of the stone evenly after that.

So quiet
This small nano air pump is 100 time's quieter than the so-called "quiet" pumps, you pay for.I have 2 on the go, in my 60L, and the sponge filter keeps my water crystal clear. If you're looking for a small quiet air pump, get this.

Short power cable
It’s a decent product but the power lead is far too short to allow positioning the pump above the water line unless you have a socket at the same height as the tank. For those with a tank situated on furniture and a socket at normal height by the floor, it won’t work.
