All four worked fine under testing but also showed one thing which may be an issue depending on your usage.The input ports are shallow, meaning the thumb drive or device you plug in to them can be bounced up or down, meaning if you knock them there is a rick of disconnect. Also as a result I would not use these as a permanent adapter, say for a thumb drive in a car unless it is a vertical mount as the weight of the thumb drive will eventually put stress on the spade/male port of the device you have plugged in.Still cheap and I have no problems with these for occasional connectivity.

Having small adapters like these cuts down on having to carry too many bulky cables or even helps to cut down on the cables I need secured to my chairside table. It means a USB A/USB A cable can be converted to a USB C/USB A or even to a USB C/USB C. Likewise a USB C /USB C cable can become a USB C/USB A or a USB A/USB A.These are USB 3 protocol which allows for fast date transfer and they are well made with part of the shell being aluninium and part transparent PVC. One negative is that there isn't a securing tether supplied and so great care will have to be taken not to lose them. Of course tethers can be bought separately.These are handy little adapters which work well for data transfer and seem to be quite speedy although its difficult to ascertain just how fast due to the many variable at play. I will say though that they are no slouches. At about £2 each I feel these a a good buy which just simplifies things cable wise.

I find it very useful to have adapters like these at hand when needed. These adapters feel very well made and work perfectly with good enough in both data and power transfer, to do the job. Four of these for under £8 is also good value: 2 USB-A (female) to USB-C (Male) and 2 USB-C (female) to USB-A (male).

I got these to use alongside a HDMI cable with a USB-C input. I wanted to convert the male to a USB-A so that I could plug the HDMI lead into our older MacBook 2018 model into the projector to watch the home movies and clips I have on there.Sadly, though the HDMI cable works fine without the connector, the projector simply does not recognise the HDMI cable when this convertor is used.The convertors work fine for charging my MacBooks and smartphones, but not for transferring via HDMI.3 stars

This is a very useful pack of 4 adapters. Two each for usb-C to usb-A, and vice versa. They're also 5GB compliant, so will transfer data at USB 3.0 rates, which is good. I found the C-A adapter very useful, as I got a new laptop recently which I didn't realise had no usb-C ports, so my hubs needed a C-A adapter to function on the laptop. These are also useful for sticking in your tech travel bag, so you have more options for charging your phone or whatever when travelling. They seem well enough made and work as expected, so I'm pleased to have these, given the flexibility they give me.

These little items can come handy more often than someone thinks. Recently, flying with KLM. Only a USB C cable around, but these old planes have only USB A sockets ... so no charging of the phone during flight ... and hence not using it.These items should have an eye for a cord, easy to do on the slim side, because a longer coloured cord is easier to find than these small adapters.The specs are of newer types, so there should not be too much bottleneck happening with data speed.And what is the maximum power when charging through it? Well, its one star lost for no say about it.

These work very well. I have a number of usb c and an and chargers using usb an and c. This is a great pack of two of each type of converter and they work nicely. I keep one of each on my home desk and another pair in my bag. Recommended.
