Power converter with USB ports
Recommended for travel. It's a power converter 220 to 120 volts. It has one plug dedicated to the conversion and one plug for 220 volts only. The device also has two older USB ports and two newer USB ports. Very convenient.

Blew first use.
Blew the first time I used it. Don't order, and if you do, order just before your trip so it will be in the return window.

Does not work! A quick and easy way to destroy a brand new $180 hair dryer
I bought this converter specifically so I could use my Leiden hairdryer to get ready for an international wedding. Instead of converting, it immediately burnt out the motor. It was an expensive failure and my hair was a crazy lady, frizzy mess at an event where I wanted to look my best

Falls Apart
This travel converter is poorly designed. The plug inserts do not stay secure, causing the device to fall apart frequently, which is extremely inconvenient. I tried using it with my flat iron, and it ended up breaking my flat iron, so I don’t believe this converter is compatible with such devices. This was a major disappointment, especially while traveling internationally.

Works, but sometimes connection to wall outlet is iffy
It worked, but when the outlets were vertical like they were in Italy sometimes, the weight of the converter caused it not to connect properly.

Can handle hair dryer or curling iron.
This unit can handle higher current items like a hair dryer or curling iron. One thing to point out is there are 2 outlets however only 1 is 110 volts, the other is 220 volts. Most phone USB adapters are rated for 110 to 220 volts so you still could plug in one of those while using the 110 volt outlet for something else.
