Perfect carry on.
If, like me, you are constantly on and off planes and trying to utilise the allowance to the absolute maximum without compromising quality and comfort then this definitely a case worth considering. I've tried cases with 4 wheels, they lose too much capacity for the convenience of the extra wheels. I've tried the minimalist lightweight backpacks, but the lack of wheels can become a real drag if you've had a long week away from home. I've tried the combo wheel/backpack cases, but they don't really excel in any particular aspect. This case gets the balance of portability and capacity just right. The fabric sides offering a bit of flexibility to really pack things in combines well with the compression straps to make sure it will pass the airline size test, without the added weight from a hard shell case. The wheels don't take up too much space from the compartment, but offer a very smooth and effortless movement around busy airports. There is only 2 main compartments and no real space to organise small items like cables, chargers etc, but honestly that's fine IMO. You can really squeeze a lot of stuff in there, so you could get separate packing cubes and organisation items if needed, plus most airlines allow you to take an accessory bag (such as laptop bag), which is something I would recommend exploiting. The handle is very good. Feels solid and well made, comparable to most other high end suitcases. If you have an accessory bag with a handle strap, there should be no concern with using it on this case.

Great Carry On Bag At An Affordable Price
I spent a lot of time researching which carry on bag to purchase. While there are more expensive, sturdier and better looking carry ons out there, I decided to go with the Eastpak, mainly for the following reasons BRAND - I've always considered the Eastpak brand name to be synonymous with affordable quality, and I knew that I would be getting a well made product if I decided to go with them. While user reviews are incredibly useful, I've known the Eastpak brand to be reliable for many years now and knew they wouldn't steer me wrong COMPRESSION STRAPS - The straps on the sides to help for compression really do make a big difference. Because of the lightweight cloth material used for the outer layer of the bag, you can really squeeze this bag into smaller spaces than expected. AESTHETIC - OK so it's not the most elegant looking carry on (the Away bags for me are much sleeker), it does retain that classic Eastpak feel. For me as long as you opt for one of the more understated colours (Black Denim, Grey etc), rather than the more outlandish options, this bag can look great being used for any kind of trip

Awesome week or weekend bag!
My partner has had this suitcase for a number of years and I always borrowed it, in face I actually used it more times than him. It's so sturdy, sleek, made from quality material, shower proof and finally some wheels that don't go wonky over time! With it's two large pockets on either side of the bag with zips, a strap for extra security, not to mention a locking mechanism, this bag is light, handy and well designed. Whether you're packing for a long weekend away or heading out for a weeks holiday, it has ample enough room for one and even has a sleek front pocket for a book, magazine or your travel documents and with a number of colours to choose from, you're spoilt for choice! I'm very happy with my purchase and will certainly be purchasing the larger version for longer travel.

It's compact yet surprisingly roomy.
First off, the size is great for short trips or as a carry-on. You can fit a decent amount of stuff inside without it feeling like you're lugging around a behemoth. And the interior organization? Pretty handy. It's got two main compartments to keep your gear sorted. Now, onto durability. It holds up great. If you had an Eastpak before you know these bags last forever if you are a bit careful. The materials seem the usual Eastpak durable high density balistic nylon, but don't expect it to survive a tumble down a flight of stairs without a scuff. The wheels are really good and feel robust the same with the handle. My only concern is that the space between the two wheels is not protected, leaving the nylon material exposed. If you are planning to use it on normal flat surfaces, pavements, or normal streets, then you will be fine. However, if you are planning to take it on a trip to rugged terrain, you might scuff it badly. There is an upgraded version of this bag (perhaps not available on Amazon) with hard plastic protecting the soft material between the two wheels, but it will cost you a bit more. Personally, I opted for this one as it is cheaper and a bit lighter, as I was only planning to use it for city breaks, short holidays, etc., where I won't have to worry. Despite a couple of things the TRANVERZ S gets points for functionality. It's a practical, light, nice-looking bag, with TSA lock and when you have to store it it takes up much less space than a traditional hard-shell one.

Sturdy, lightweight carry on 2 wheels case
Purchased it so we could have it as a carry on case that most airlines would allow. Used recently on a 3 week trip without any issues. It’s sturdy enough to be wheeled around with at least 6-8kgs of clothes, grab handles usefully positioned to be able to easily lift into aircraft overhead lockers & still felt lightweight enough to easily manoeuvre at all times. Good to have separate zipped internal compartments too, though we are also users of travel cubes which really help us to keep our clothes neatly packed plus easy to find. Would certainly recommend both this case & the use of packing cubes for all your trips requiring a reliable carry on bag!

I spent most of a day researching hundreds of carry-on bags for an upcoming two-week trip and decided on this one. I was not disappointed in the least! Please be aware that this is a SMALL carry-on, only 20 inches in length. I chose this rather than a 22 inch model because I want to be able to use it as a carry-on bag on both international and domestic flights. If you are interested in a bag for domestic flights only, you may want to consider a 22 inch bag...two inches doesn't sound like much, but it can make a big difference if you'll be acquiring things during travel or traveling in cold weather. What I love most about this bag is that it opens down the center like a book. This allows you to pack each side separately, and there are panels on each side that zip to keep the contents closed. It's like having two separate shallow bags, with the advantage that you don't have to go rummaging all the way to the bottom of a deep bag to find a small item. If you need to carry something that is thicker than one side of the bag you can just leave the interior panels unzipped. There is also an exterior pocket on the front that goes the entire length of the bag, giving it considerably more room. Being a cloth bag, it molds easily into tight spaces like overhead bins. The sturdy compression straps really help to reduce the volume, too. You can really stuff a lot into this bag, and if you fill the front pocket as well as the main compartment it may be too thick to meet carry on regulations...but it's nice to have the extra space available if checking the bag is an option. The tow handle telescopes in three sections, making it long enough for even a very tall person to pull the bag on its wheels without dragging it. The two wide wheels roll smoothly, even on moderately rough surfaces. The wheels are partly recessed into the bag, which significantly reduces the total length compared to a four-wheeled bag (which does not have recessed wheels). A previous reviewer stated a concern that it would be very difficult to change the wheels if they become damaged; however, the liner on the side of the bag where the wheels are mounted has a zipper that would allow you to access the wheel fasteners from the inside. In addition to the tow handle, there are convenient carry handles on the top and one side of the bag so you can carry it like a suitcase. There is an integrated, TSA-compliant combo lock that locks the zipper ends in place; no need to bring a separate lock! You can choose any 3-digit code you like. Finally, this bag has a classic design that is always in style. The canvas-like fabric harkens to an earlier time but doesn't look at all dated. Eastpak has been around for 70 years and they really know how to design a pack! This bag is a little more costly than other bags of its size, but believe me, you will forget the price the first time you use it.
