Pond Pump Variable Flow Submersible / Dry Use (Variflow 10000)

I Have Nothing negative to say about the product it came on time I'm it was packaged very well the instructions were clear on how to install it was very straightforward to Mount the regulating unit onto the wall and to fit the pump I could use my existing system as the dimensions of the replacement pump were pretty identical it is very nice to be able to increase and decrease the flow something I've not been able to do before

I give this pump 1 season if that.Very cheap brittle nasty plastic attachments.You pay for what you get.Unfortunately my pump just broke so I’m going have to use it otherwise I would send back.Used pump for couple of weeks and although it’s small can apparently get up to 9000litres a minute. Currently running it at 5000

Useless pieces of junk.I bought 2 velda pumps for my 2 ponds. A 5000 and a 12500. Small one lasted 6 months, the big one 9 months.Both were cleaned of course, made like new, but the motors just went caput.Waste of money - and A LOT of money.Velda is a junk make.

First, I need to point out I didn't buy this at Amazon - I didn't think to look... My bad.I've had mine running for a week now. I haven't measured the flow but relative to a trusted manufacturer's 8,000lph claim, this is well over. It is also overflowing an Aqua EasyPod designed for a 10,000lph flow even at 80%. So very impressive on that front!It copes well with large things - hasn't got clogged in normal use yet while another has (again, trusted manufacturer's) and when I managed to knock a pipe out when plodding around in the pond, it sucked up a rather large stone and the controller's safety kit cut it out immediately. Again, excellent.Finally, a feature I haven't noticed being mentioned in the blurb: the display to adjust %flow shows the % while adjusting then reverts to power use; that's useful in itself but if the pump is set to 70% and that normally displays as, say, 50w, if the power use rises to 60w as the system tries to retain that flow, you know it's time to clean the pond-side filter. With my half-wild very open pond, this is extremely useful!Should another pump pop, I'll be replacing it with one of these. Great little unit.
