Just finished mixing up a batch of this and couldn’t be more impressed. A delicious seasoning. Not too hot but a nice notable zip to it. I was concerned that it was going to be too hot but it is just right for me. Highly recommend

Great Flavor Makes Sausage Easy
I have used this sausage seasoning for years . Always consistent flavor and everyone lives finished product . I used Summer Sausage , Maple Breakfast , Sweet Italian , Smoked Jalapeño all excellent . If you have solid ratios for meat , hydration, fat the seasoning will be perfect .

I paid for this product. I have a RIGHT to give it 5 stars without REQUIRING my time to "review" the product, so amazon can censor what I say about what I PAID FOR.Obviously this seasoning is good. Duh. 5 stars communicates that!

Did 6.2 pounds of pork loin 3/16 grind.AND 6.1 pounds of skinless pork belly fine grind.used a mix of 4 1/4 ounces HOT and 4 1/4 ounces of mild Legg's Italian.Added 1/4 ounce of paprika to add a bit more color and 1 ounce of garlic powder.Mixed the dry ingredients into a slurry with 13 ounces of cold water.Mixed it together until it was totally uniform and stuck to my hand (protein).Into the fridge until tomorrow to blend the flavors and then into hog casing.I fried up a burger and it was better than any local butcher shop or supermarket brand..Next will be some straight mild with sheep casings stuffed with grated Romano and loads of fresh parsley.

Truly great hot sausage
I use a rounded tablespoon per pound of ground pork and I think it makes a sausage better than any I found in stores. I usually make it up in the morning or the night before I cook it so it has about 8 hours to develop a full flavor. Knead it well as you mix it in.

We got a bunch of different spice packets on Amazon for sausage - this was our favorite. Reasonably (but not overly) hot, and great flavor. Not the cheapest packet out there, but so easy to use. Clear directions for how much to put in. We are a mix of "spicey" and "non-spicey" eaters. Everyone liked this one - some just called it hotter than others at the table. So much flavor!
