IDS Electric Shock Hand Shake Buzzer Classic Joke Laugh Gag

I purchased 5 of these. They took an extremely long time to arrive from China (but that is par for the source). Not one of the 5 worked on day one. There is a small slot in the back, above the batteries, which is typically where a thin cardboard tab is placed before packaging to prevent the batteries from going dead in warehouse storage, on store shelves, or during shipping. Fresh out of the package, not one of these buzzers had a tab in the slot. I ordered new replacement batteries (Four LR41 disk batteries per device), and after installed, only 3 of the buzzers worked (two still don't work at all). The ones that work, give a sharp sting, but only on highly sensitive areas of the body, like the forearms, upper arm, neck, ribs, etc. They have very little effect in the palm of the hand (barely a tingle) if used as intended for a handshake joy buzzer. The product is not worth buying with its current design, and lack of effectiveness. I would recommend to not purchase this item.

It did not work was very cheap

Very little result in the electric shock factor. It required a lot of experiment on how to get a good connection, even then it barely registered. I wanted to change the battery, but the screws where so tiny that I would have to go and purchase an "eyeglass frame" fixture kit. Even then I don't know what batteries it holds. I assume a CR2032... But who knows.

Like another reviewer here, ours came with essentially dead batteries. . . . I could feel a tingle across the pads with my tongue, but there wasn't enough power to make a zap. We ordered new batteries for it, which cost us as much as the original hand buzzer. We put in 4 new batteries and it did indeed work a few times, but the power of the zap decays very fast and now a day later it's almost imperceptible except using my tongue again. I don't know if ours doesn't work as well as it should, but we're not impressed and would not buy this again. Also the screws that hold it together are cheap little screws in plastic so I doubt it will survive another cycle of battery replacement?

Classic gag and no stores sell em anymore what a shame! Will purchase again!

Bought this for my son. He loves playing pranks on people and thought maybe he would enjoy this. Well i was right haha he has a blast with this shocker. He goes around school and even church shaking hands while they jolt in excitement. Quality product for such a small fee.

No good item, not working...electric shock handshake buzzer..i lost a dollars.

Piece of junk. Was fun while it lasted until one if the buttons got stuck inside & killed the battery. Impossible to change battery as screw holes are extremely small.

Every little boy needs one of these!
