Dorset: A Dog Walker's Guide - 20 Countryside Dog Walks with Lots of Off-Lead Time

I live in the East of Dorset, but the vast majority of the 20 walks ,14 in fact, are located beyond the centre point of Dorset, and down towards Cerne Abbas, Bridport and Lyme Regis. From my location in Bournemouth, even the nearest walks for my dog and I would be quite a drive. More suitable for holidaymakers or residents in Dorchester and Bridport areas I would have thought. Apart from this it is a well.laid out book, with some very interesting walks, beautiful colour photos and a wealth of information. It appears to be a lovely guide for dog walking. Not eligible for return to Amazon.

I bought this book to accompany a week’s holiday in Dorset and I’m glad I did. Of the 5 walks completed, the information is accurate and the narrative is helpful - especially when supported by an OS map. It introduced me to parts of Dorset that I would have missed, so I’d recommend this book to any walking dog owner.

We have other dog walk books from this author so we knew what to expect, and it didn't disappoint. Our walking holiday in Dorset with three adults and a very happy dog was great, thanks to this book.

Lots of great walks and different lengths so something for everyone - only wish we had had the weather to try them out!!

Really informative little book - routes are easy to follow, and love the fact that rehydration points (dog friendly pubs) are listed too!
