I searched far and wide for this exact bag to replace the one I had before, which was stained. The top plastic ring had also broken, so the duct tape didn't look very nice... I was happy to see this is still being made. NO ONE else that I could find makes a nice bag that hangs FLAT behind your bathroom door. We have a tiny bathroom, so this is just the thing for used towels, washcloths, etc. I did balk at $13, but I knew it was perfect, so I got it and I'm not sorry. You can take the bag off the plastic rim if you want to, but I just flip it inside out so the clothes fall into my laundry basket. I don't use the over-door hook. We installed a sturdy metal hook on a stud behind the door.

This is my second one purchased after several years (the other one broke). I like the style so much I searched for a duplicate replacement. It makes laundry pick up so easy. I just drop my laundry in! I like how it hangs on my bathroom door too. I dont have a lot of room for a floor design hamper!

For the money you simply cannot beat this over-the-door hamper. It comes with a sturdy plastic hook that fits over the door frame, so you need a little bit of room in the frame but only the tightest doors will not fit this (and I suppose you can use a file to make it fit). From this hook there is a sturdy ring and strap that attaches to an oval of plastic that forms the mouth of the hamper. The laundry bag is a drawstring that fits over this oval, and you can easily take that bag off to go to the laundry room or laundromat. The bag is mesh so the laundry does not get musty while waiting to be washed. A nice side effect I've discovered is that the bag acts as a doorstop! The only downside to it is that the plastic oval can rattle when the door is closed, which can be a bother in the middle of the night when you don't want to wake people. I solve that by hanging a towel or a robe behind the plastic oval.Great value for the money! I plan on spraying mine with Armor-all so the plastic does not degrade and crack. It really solved my problem of having nowhere to put a hamper, and since the door is usually open it's tucked out of sight behind the door. That's a huge plus.

Nice large size, but it staying together is hard.

I purchased several of these about 15 years ago. Comparing the one I just got to the older ones I have - it's not as good. On the new one the plastic is thinner & the laundry bag is made with a little less quality. Although adequate & will do the job, I can't see this one lasting as long as the old ones have.

I liked that I could get this put together in less than a minute and hung on my sons dresser. It holds about a weeks worth of clothes and he can carry it right to the laundry room.

My hangable laundry hamper came quickly, was very easy for me to assemble by myself, and totally meets my needs. It's sturdy, lightweight, holds much more than I expected while giving me more space on my bathroom floor. I use a walker, so when full, I just unhook and carry straight to the washer without struggling to balance a regular hamper.

I really enjoy any kind of product that helps me stay organized and this one certainly does!The plastic is very sturdy and the hook fits perfectly over my doors. The mesh bag with drawstring is of very high quality. I keep this product on the back of my bedroom door which gets the dirty laundry off the floor and out of sight! I'm planning to buy another one so that I can pre-sort my laundry (darks and lights), so when its time to do the wash I just empty the bag into the washing machine and walk away.Another thing: It has always bothered me that we put dirty clothes in a laundry basket, and then when the laundry come out of the dryer clean, we put the clean clothes back into the same (dirty) basket. The clothes get clean but what about the basket?Well with this product I don't need to use the basket for dirty clothes and I just throw the mesh bag into the wash with the rest of the laundry and only clean clothes go in the basket on their trip back to drawers and closets!I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone who likes to keep organized or has limited floor space.
