Good for the money
Works great, if you’re not good with your hands you’ll struggle putting it together so keep that in mind. The pin should be set at the highest capacity to allow easy positioning of the body before use and re-installed at the bottom as a safety in case of exhausting to avoid injury so make sure the bottom opening is at the lowest position you feel comfortable before you commit to loading it with weights. It does swing on a fix point so place your legs a little forward to match the downward motion. You can buy angled rubber stoppers they’re like $35’ish dollars on Amazon if you’re really in need of them. Overall everyone that’s used the hack squat add on has liked it including myself since we can take the sets up to failure and getting that proper pump. 10/10

Not worth the pain to put together and use
The media could not be loaded. So let me start this out by saying I was VERY excited for this piece of equipment. I have a gym in my garage, so I am limited in my workouts to the equipment I have. Having said that, I have maxed out the amount of weight I can put on my barbell and then onto my knee for calf raises. So I went on a hunt for something to help me that isn’t a big, bulky machine. Honestly I don’t have room for anymore machines. I found a dinky little foot pedal type device and this. This looked PERFECT! I could do my calves on different elevations and I could do different forms of squats… SUPER EXCITED!!I read the other review, the gentleman said he could not get the stability bar through the bearings and now had a $200+ paper weight… I thought to myself “maybe he just got a bad bearing and it won’t be that bad, I got this!!” … HA! Good news is I did get it! (Mr. If Ure reading this, it took a rubber mallet, WD40, patience and about 30 mins of manipulation). So here I am, all put together and even tho I’m exhausted from all the pounding, by golly, I’m going to set this up on my cable machine and see how she works! 💪Well!! That alone was yet another struggle! The equipment is as heavy as the box and very awkward to lift up to attach to my cable machine. Once I figured out a way to lift it - gotta do it with one hand and one shoulder because u need ur other hand to engage the pin. Oh! And don’t forget the safety brackets! Make sure u put them in the same pocket as ur available hand! Made that mistake too… and be sure to grab the safety pins for the safety brackets! Those suckers fall out of the brackets without hesitation, so don’t drop them on the floor while Ure holding the equipment! Again, figured that out the hard way.The safety brackets - or safety pins, whatever you wanna call them are a pain in the a$$ to put in! They are a very snug fit and an awkward task at best. It took me about 10 minutes to get them situated and honestly, by the time I got the equipment attached to my cable machine, I was over it and had to get ready for work so I didn’t even try it out 🤬Long story short, it’s a pain in the butt to put together and attach to a cable machine, but if it’s worth it, I’ll let you know.UPDATE: personal opinion: this is NOT worth the $200. It’s a pain in the butt to attach to the cable machine, and I thought “why don’t I just leave it attached… “ you can! But only if u do t want to use the cable function on that side of the machine.OH! And make sure u weigh down the opposite side of ur cable machine if it’s not bolted into the ground!!! I lost dumped my whole gym on myself 🤣🤣😞

Great concept. A couple improvements can be made
The media could not be loaded. Smooth movements. Great for calf raises, hack squats, pendulum squats. Fits 2x2, 3x2 and 3x3 racks. Improvements than can made… some type of safety strap if you fail a rep. Ability to mount in the front of the rack vs the side.

Great but needs improvement
I really love this attachment. But i had to weld a long leg to support it. Before, when lifting, i was worried the whole cage would topple over.

Don't buy
Awful to put together. I see others saying you need a press. It took me about 15 minutes to repeatedly beat the pin into the two pieces. I broke one hard rubber mallet doing it. I tried using it after I finally got it together and putting this onto the power rack is nearly impossible by yourself. Garbage product and this company has ignored my multiple emails to ask to return it for credit. Because of the customer service fail, I'll stop buying any of their products. I own the power rack and it's fine. This product however is just straight trash.

You WILL NEED a press in order to install this AT02 Hack Squat attachment
I absolutely like Ritfit equipment. I have a Ritfit Power rack with the smith machine attached and wanted to add the hack squat attachment to my gym. I was ecstatic when I saw the attachment offered and decently priced. I wouldn’t have anything negative to say about Ritfit, other than you WILL need a press when putting this AT02 Hack Squat attachment together. Trust me… I tried to tap the axle through the bearing when first putting together… it didn’t work. I had to go out and purchase a press to install this thing. I also bought a replacement bearing, due to damaging the original while trying to tap the axle through during install. I wish they would call out that a press is needed in the install manual. I still like Ritfit equipment… I just hate that I needed to go out a spend more money to put an attachment together.
