This razor feels great in the hand and is of a very high quality. The comb is definitely on the 'closed' end of the scale but this means that it is very safe to use and the chance of cutting yourself is almost nil. This makes it an ideal razor if you are new to wet shaving with a double edged safety razor. There are no plastic parts - so this means the environmental impact is almost zero. The price is also very good when compared to other razors of a similar design.2 years on still works great!

I bought this razor a few years ago and use it on a daily basis.Not using disposables has saved me hundreds of pounds as they are expensive and wasteful.This razor is very sturdy. Easy to use and easy to clean.Well worth every penny.

This is a great razor, nice smooth shave, my legs have never felt as smooth before. I also find it's easy to use without cutting yourself. My biggest problem though is it came wrapped in cellophane, my whole reason for buying one of these razors was to move away from plastic, but it came in single use plastic, which is probably out there now breaking up into microplastics.

I was a bit apprehensive about using this as I've always used plastic razors (thankfully the world is waking up to throw away items!) I thought I would cut myself and it would be hard to get used to, but it is so easy and looks great too! It is comfortable to use and much safer than I thought! The blades are easy to change and last a while. Keep the blade clean after use by turning the head a few times and swilling in water. Cut your plastic consumption and get one of these!

Personally I bought this safety razor because it has bamboo handle as I read that metal one's are slippery on wet fingers thus harder to handle. Eco friendliness is just a bonus on top of practicality! I used disposable blades before I purchased this one and the shave feeling with this one is unique. I can clearly feel every hair being cut when using this blade. I wouldn't switch to disposable blades again. Sure, I do tend to get more skin cuts, but that's just because I didn't had much practice with such blades before. First thing I noticed was how the blade was sticking out which kind of scared me at first, but didn't prevent me from using this. * * * * *

It seems ok darent use as it's to dangerous for me and have never seen one this, was hoping to help the planet but don't want to lose my skin

For some reason I decided to invest in one of these safety razors... I just felt it was time... couldn't say why... one minute I was on YouTube and the next I was on Amazon shelling out cash... but oh my god am I glad I bought this. I love this razor! A little more tricky to shave with (just needs a little extra care and attention) and you'll need a good shaving cream. The shave is close and feels awesome. The bamboo handle is cool looking, and I feel it's easier to grip than the metal types. Never going back.

Took a punt, hoping it would look as nice in reality.... I was not disappointed. High quality build, very smart and wood is warm to the touch in the morning. It couldn't be easier to use. It feels great to shave. The goop that forms under the blade with each swipe washes easily off in less than a second of running water unlike every disposable I've ever used. It's three pieces, weight is 87 grams with a blade. Separately I purchased a box of Astra double edge blades which were compatible.
