I wanted it to view my YouTube subscribers. I had to set up some things that were a little bit out of my skill set to do this, but a couple of YouTube videos helped. The device itself is great.Overall, great build quality, good brightness, and easy to use.

The build quality of this clock is great, but sadly the firmware lets it down massively.I managed to get the firmware into English (it defaults to Chinese) but even setting the unit to the correct time zone, it consistently had the incorrect time and date.The weather settings require you to navigate a Chinese website to get the location code for where you are, but it still wouldn't display the correct weather.Looking at the internet, it seems these are common problems that may be resolved by replacing the firmware on the unit with a third party one, but these functions are so basic, I wouldn't have thought that I'd have to void my warranty to just get the unit to function as sold.I didn't reflash the firmware and instead I disappointedly returned the unit.

For most rooms this is a useful clock with many additional features. It becomes even more useful when updated with the Awtrix firmware and paired with HomeAssistant. Unfortunately, I bought this to use in my bedroom and even on lowest brightness the display is too bright.
