Honestly 10/10 had an issue with poor airflow no matter what I did in a room with double windows at that! This fixed the issue. Even on the lowest setting, it moves a lot of air, and is very quiet (on the lowest setting.) the middle is also very low, and the high is what you'd expect on high lol. Great job as a fan and even works to create a nice cross breeze on cooler nights when used in exhaust mode. Get it, play with the settings and find what works for YOUR room- intake or exhaust, because different days different settings work better for me!

Got a warehouse unit, so I wasn't expecting it to be perfect. But I did NOT expect it to sound like a coin being tossed around in a tin can when I turned it on. I noticed that there were two metal clips on the blades, and pried those off. It seems like these should have been removed in the factory, but someone missed these two. The fan is whisper quiet now. No doubt the unit was originally returned due to the horrendous noise, so if anyone else encounters the same issue, removing the metal clips is the fix.My other gripe is that I had to cut the foam block down, no configuration would fill the gap adequately.Last annoyance is the foam strip on top of the fan does not extend to the end of the unit, leaving two gaps, one on each end.Oh and one more complaint with amazon open box. Why the heck did you guys pit the LPN sticker on the unit? these types of labels are a pain in the rear to remove. Please put them on the box/ packaging or use a removable sticker.Lovely fan with some minor annoyances.

This is a very good product: the fan works well, and is inconspicuous (which is a plus for me). However I have one complaint, which can stand as a caveat to certain potential buyers: I had problems with the installation process. That shouldn't be: installing a window fan ought to be a snap. However, I live in an old house (1870s) with non-standard windows, and there is no combination of the side panels that come with the fan would fit properly. Furthermore, for reasons I'm still unsure of, it was impossible for me to get the window to come down and fit properly on top of the fan. I suspect our old window frame is a bit too wide to behave as the manufacturer expected.I finally got the fan installed and reasonably well sealed by using a combination of the side panels and foam rubber. But it was more difficult than I was entirely happy about.In conclusion: if you have a house that is newer than ours and has modern windows, you will likely not have any trouble at all installing the unit. If not...well, your mileage may vary.

Fits my window perfectly! I love how it doesn’t take up much window space it looks so nice! Works great too and brings in a nice breeze to cool my room down.

The good:The fan itself, consider the smaller size, provides decent airflow. Not great, not good, but OK airflow - for the slim size.The neutral:It fits OK into a newer window with no trim or sill (like your average cheap vinyl replacement window). The fan is reversible.The bad:Where to start? This product is such a disappointment - a collection of good ideas ruined by Vornado cheaping out resulting in poor execution, poor fit, and a worse seal than your average $30 (junky) window fan. The biggest issue is the fit of the unit itself - it requires a newer window with tight clearances for a secure fit. It does not fit securely into older windows, any sash windows I tried, or into any of the windows having interior sills/trim that fit against a closed sash (common on older windows, wooden sash windows, etc). Any degree of height or padding adjustment under the unit could have resolved this issue - it is simply cheap/poor design on Vornados part, especially considering the higher price-point. The foam blocks included do little to seal the window and can easily be shifted or pushed out. Bugs and mosquitoes can freely come and go around these blocks and through the unit itself as it has no grill or mesh on the exterior to prevent this.Window fans are rarely the best option, but this Vornado fits so poorly that I can honestly recommend just opening your window or propping a cheap box fan on the sill instead… it will move more air and you’ll deal with same number of bugs and poor seal as you would with this unit. The seal and fit of this unit is unacceptably bad for this price point - try a cheaper fan instead.

It works well. It is very quiet. It's ok for the money but I needed something with more power to suck out the humid air in the room.

Perfect and just as described. Great fan for the price. Not loud at all (slight humming noise) and blows air clear across the room on high.
