Miracle TimeCube - Natural Bamboo Wood, 1-4 Minute Timer for Kitchen, Kids, Workout

Excellent timer. You can also save a custom interval, which is what fans of this timer will definitely love. No blinking LED. Looks great (green numbers on bamboo.) Slightly larger than the original cube timer. digital display is much more easily visible than the original. The additional cost may seem significant, but the improvements are worth the money.

I bought this "The Miracle TimeCube Timer, Natural Bamboo Wood, 1,2,3 and 4 Minutes," in 2018 and it has worked fine. We use it dozens of times per week. I'm writing this review now because it recently started to misbehave and so I came here to buy another one. It worked fine for 4 years. The unit is easy to use. Turn it on with the switch, then flip it to the desired number of minutes. Very simple. There is a little BB inside that detections which number is up. Once time expires, it starts beeping. Just flip it to stop the beeping. The unit is bamboo, but the bottom (control area, time display, battery compartment, and on/off switch) are plastic. So bamboo on 5 sides, and plastic on one side. To use it, flip it so that the number is up. The time indicator (which you can see when a number is up) starts counting down from that time. Quite frankly, this thing is infinitely easier to use than other kitchen timers. Why didn't someone invent this 20 years ago. My unit hasn't been working well recently. The unit has been dropped many many times but I don't think that is the issue. I suspect that the BB or the contacts are getting oxidized. Now I have to shake it a little to get it to recognize the new orientation. Then it starts working. I like the unit and am buying a replacement. If it lasts for the same 4 years as this one did then I'll be happy. Scott

I got this timer because of its simplicity, I have small children who need to brush their teeth for two minutes and swish with fluoride for one minute, so I figured this would be easy for them to operate. It would be, except sometimes the timer doesn't register when it's turned to time or to silence, AND when you try to turn it down or take it from the down position the timer part falls out of the cube. I finally gave up because literally every time we tried to use it the timer part fell out and it was just too fiddly for my kids to use.

I have another Bamboo Time Cube and it is a quality item with a nice design. Worth the higher price if you like the feel of extra quality. I wanted one with shorter intervals for kitchen use so I ordered this one. Unfortunately it did not work. It fired up when I put a brand new alkaline battery in. I even double checked the battery to be good with a meter. The gravity sensor did not register position and the set buttons did not register any presses. It would only occasionally register an input. This item is defective and other reviewers have noted the same problem. The price on this Bamboo Cube is significantly lower than other Bamboo cubes so maybe the seller is trying to clear out a defective batch. I have a plastic Time Cube from another seller and while not the Bamboo feel and look, it is just as functional and sturdy.

I own a different version of this from a different company that works much better. This model has a significant delay in realizing which way is facing up. When you change directions it can take up to a minute or longer for it to realize that it needs to start a new timer or turn off. It's especially annoying when you turn it right side up and the timer does not turn off.

My husband was super excited to get this to use for his workouts. However, we received a broken one so I have no idea how this works.

Got the miracle cube as present for my husband for when he makes his French press coffee. The 1 and 2 minute interval is perfect for coffee making purposes and the cube is easy to use. Worked like a charm for the first 2 weeks (thus the 2 stars) but than had occasional problems when timer wouldn’t start when cube was turned or the buzzer wouldn’t turn off. Have tried to return it (within the 30 day period) because of the glitching but having difficulty getting seller (What America Buys) to agree to refund. I’v appealed through Amazon’s A to Z Guarantee so hopefully will get refund and reimbursement of shipping costs.

Schönes Design, gut verarbeitet und funktioniert fabelhaft. Nach langem Suchen nach einem einfachen Wecker für verschiedene Teeziehzeiten (2,3,4 Minuten) bin ich sehr zufrieden.
