An excellent multi-tool that feels like it will outlive me and works great, plus a belt holster
I highly recommend this multi-tool, it's affordable, has tons of uses, and it's durable enough that it's probably going to outlive you even if you buy it right now. This is a really great multi-tool with 14 tools (though a couple count as multiple tools) and a solid anodized aluminum exterior plus sturdy steel tools. It weighs quite a bit at almost 3/4 of a pound, and it feels incredibly sturdy. Pulling this out of the package feels like you're pulling a hammer out of the package instead of a multi-tool, just because of how sturdy it is. Every tool on it functions well, and it's designed to be able to replace and repair parts of it in case you somehow manage to damage a tool on it instead of having to replace the whole multi-tool.The only complaint I have is the clam-shell packaging it comes in. You basically need a whole other multi-tool to open the package, or at least a sturdy pair of scissors. It really doesn't weigh a lot in the scheme of things but it certainly feels like it does. It's going to stand out on a standard belt because of how large the tool and therefore the holster is, and you might get accused of compensating for something when you whip the multi-tool out. But, you can make up for that by being ready for almost any standard job you don't need a specialized tool for, and crack open a cold one with the bottle opener when you're done. The screws that hold it together are all standard hex screws so if you manage to break a part of it somehow, you can pull out the problem tool and replace it. You could even customize it and add your own tools to it, if you can find the axles and sliders and arrange them right, but if you do then it definitely wouldn't fit into the belt holster anymore. It fits incredibly snugly into the belt holder, the button that snaps it shut is very tightly measured to exactly let you close it with no play, so it won't go anywhere while you're walking around with it. It's made of standard Nylon and it's sturdy and cut-resistant, and the loop that connects it to a belt is sewn securely to the back of the holster. With how strongly made this tool is, you're sure to feel its weight on your belt for a while until you get used to using it regularly enough that you forget it's there until you need it.I'm not sure how often I'll wear this around day-to-day when I'm not working, but it's a great tool to have when I regularly have to work on various little construction projects that you I justify bringing out the power tools for.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not mince words. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

Pocket Toolkit
A multi-tool that fits in the pocket or backpack is a must for anyone who finds themselves looking for a variety of tools during the day. Most often the included tools are a compromise that don't always serve their purpose, especially in the miniature form multi-tools. This Craftsman quality tool is just the right size to make the tools included much more useful. Built around a pair of spring loaded needle-nosed pliers with built in side cutters, each handle contains a variety of other useful implements that enable you to fix, repair and adjust a number of tasks during your day.Screws can be driven and removed using the single (small) Phillips head or one of the three slot-head screwdriver bits. The cutting tools are sharp and include a saw, a knife blade and a small scissors, each with a good edge that is ready to go. All of the blades and other tools are easily accessible out of the handles, and, if you do some creative folding, the blade/driver/file/etc. can stand by itself for maximum leverage. The quality is great and I expect to be using this for a number of years ahead.

Substantial multi tool!
This is a very nice substantial multi tool . The pliers spring-back is really nice and the feel is just like a regular needle nose pliers. All the tools inside have a real quality feel and will last for a long time. The quality feel comes at a price though as the weight of this tool is quite heavy. Since I will be carrying this in my car on the road the weight really doesn't matter to me. Also the case fits a bit snug when the tool is closed all the way. Once again I don't mind as I probably will just let this sit in my glove compartment without the case.5 Stars = Excellent brand and product, great deal!4 Stars = Really good product with a minor fault or two.3 Stars = Average just like the number. Good not great.2 Stars = May be OK, but there are glowing issues with it.1 Star = Avoid at all costs!

Quality construction – All in one tools are clumsy to use – Very odd carrying case
I’ve included some photos to help you follow this review. In my youth, the Sears Catalog reigned supreme. Craftsman tools were one of the many brands under the Sears umbrella. They offered a lifetime warranty for their tools and honored it no question asked. But time weakened the brand and Craftsman’s lifetime warranty now comes with Russian style interrogation and maybe you get a replacement tool. The Craftsman 14-in-1 multi-purpose tool is a pair of needle nose pliers with other tools embedded in the two handles. Much like a Swiss Army Knife, these secondary tools can be pulled out of the handle. With both handles opened, the tool looks like it belongs in the Edward Scissorhands movie. Their function is more clumsy than precise. But this is to be expected with this design. As a pair of pliers with wire cutting capability, the Craftsman does OK. The handles are too bulky and smooth to give you the best confidence in use. But as a product intended as an emergency set of tools, the Craftsman is acceptable. The price is right for what the product offers. Many people would place this tool in their car or boat to be there when it is needed. A carrying case is needed for this purpose. And one comes with the tool – sort of. The case is black fabric with a snap closure. It is way too small for the tool (see photo). The pliers' handles are spring loaded. The case needs to compress these springs so the tool is compact. But the case design fails in this regard. The tool in the case looks like a 50 years old man donning his wedding attire from 20 years ago. The case is totally wrong for this tool.Overall the Craftsman 14-in-1 multi-purpose tool is a good product with a goofy carrying case. I give it a B+ rating.

Handy multitool from a trusted brand
I have trusted Craftsman since my youth (I'm well into middle age, now). This multitool is handy for home and work use. Obviously the most used tool is the pliers, but I am always finding I need something cut, filed, screwed, and more - this 14-in-1 is a great tool to have on my belt to grab and get to work.
