Who Was Booker T. Washington?

This book has incorrect history. They are trying to rewrite history for an agenda. Booker T Washington was an amazing man that should be celebrated and with correct information. For example the primary reason for the Civil War was not for slavery it was bc of secession of the southern states. The Northern states had more slaves than southern states and the Emancipation Proclamation only freed slaves in southern states not Northern States so it was not the reason for war.

My grandson enjoyed reading about African Americans and not finding many books of interest in his catholic school library asked me to order him books. He is in 3rd grade and loved the book very much

Bought for my 8yr old goddaughter. She loved it. Very very informative book for the buy. Lots of information and great for learning and school reports! Ended up buying a lot more of these books! Will continue buying

This series of books for kids are great introductions to famous people and world events, but they are flimsy - won't last long but important for kids and just enough info to keep them interested
