Quality product, heavy duty shower head holder - FANTASTIC - 100 stars
Bought the Metal Handheld Shower Head Holder in Chrome finish. Wow, this is excellent quality and will no doubt last. If you are tired of those flimsy plastic chrome coated shower parts and need to replace with something better, then you have found the right company and part. Solid, heavy-duty metal. It swivels, it shines, its durable, easy to install. Bought the holder several months back and finally got around to installing it. I dreaded taking the shower assembly apart, but I was more annoyed by the leak in the old existing plastic one and found it in a box set to the side, so I went ahead and finally installed it. The box contained the holder, Teflon tape and basic instruction page with warranty info. The holder was nicely wrapped in a soft clothlike bag to protect from scratches. Use rubber strap wrench to uninstall old plastic part. Detach hose and handheld shower from old part. Put Teflon tape on all external metal threads. Nice included Teflon tape so did not have to hunt some down. Screw the one end onto the shower arm filter on wall side, screw the metal ended hose to other end of holder with handheld shower head attached. Ensure you have the hose the right way as sometimes one coupler end is longer to fit in the holder. All back together. Check the hose fits into the holder. Hand snug together then tighten with soft strap wrench. Do not use metal wrenches or you will more than likely scratch up the finish. Turn on water and test, no leaks. Looks good and will definitely outlast the plastic.

Exceeded my expectations. Solid metal build quality and solved more issues than I expected
I basically never write reviews on Amazon but was so thrilled with this thing. Please ignore that the finishes don't match. Unfortunately my hardware is nickel and the existing showerhead I had was chrome. So I have a Hansgrohe Clubmaster hand shower and the swivel mount it came with cracked and failed because it was plastic. I called Hansgrohe and they sent me a new one but said that it would not be adjustable (newer design). That was disappointing but was fine for a while until I moved into a place where the shower arm came in much lower. I'd have to squat just to get my head under the water. I was looking into shower arm extensions, S shaped ones, all that stuff to solve this issue. But I said you know what I'm overdue to replace this hand shower holder and thankfully found this item. Not only did it give me back most the height I needed it also somehow allowed for way more water pressure to come through my showerhead. I guess I hadn't noticed that the new part in the other product had also included some restriction in it. I had already removed the restrictor in my hand shower head itself. I will say I totally buy into the ethos here of metal feeling like better quality, less disposable and throw away BS. The only reservation I have is that the shower head requires nothing more than a light touch to adjust the pitch. Hopefully that just means this is well designed, but I do worry when it's not quite so new if it will start to droop a bit on its own. Time will tell as I've only used it the once so far. That said if you think you need one of these just get it. I know sometimes it's easy to be cynical or jaded about a lot of imported internet direct stuff on Amazon where they have a bunch of fake reviews and you're worried about getting some piece of trash that ends up a chore to return. This was not that, and I applaud them for seeing an opportunity in the market and getting these made. Hopefully it stays durable for the long haul, but even still the price on this is super competitive with some of the plastic crap out there for sale.

Use this awesome shower head as a foundation for an excellent DIY setup!
What you're seeing in the picture is three separate components from three separate manufacturers that, when put together, makes for a BULLETPROOF handheld shower setup. We initially spent over $70 on a Delta In2uition shower head setup that was complete plastic garbage. It's a shame to pay that much for plastic junk. I returned it and went on a mission to build my own leakproof and durable setup. I started with the shower head holder, which in most kits is almost always plastic. Folks, this Hammerhead shower holder is THE holder you've been looking for if you want something durable that does not leak. It's hefty and made from solid brass/metal and is so easy to install. Grab yourself a roll of MegaTape thread seal tape, wrap your pipe a few times (I did three), and screw on the holder. With plastic kits it can be quite easy to cross thread the fitting, causing immediate leaks. This holder goes on super easy without cross threading, making a solid seal. I then made sure I bought a metal hose that too was durable. I combined it with a Sakaika 6 function shower head that had excellent reviews and boom, had a complete setup that didn't leak (the head even came with instructions on how to remove the flow regulator). It has awesome pressure and is stylish as well with it's brushed nickel finish. Do yourself a huge favor and build your own setup, starting with this shower head holder. You will not regret it. The price I paid for all the components (holder, hose, and head) was around the same price I paid for the Delta and far exceeds the junk they're trying to sell.

A little expensive, but well worth the price, and very high quality!
I recently ordered two of these, to replace cheap plastic ones (one of which broke, another which was starting to show wear). They cost about three times what a decent chrome plated plastic version does, but I decided I just wanted to get really good metal ones, and be done with it. These appeared to be the best match for what I had, only made of solid brass, with a nice chrome plating. They arrived quickly, and were everything that was represented in the product page. They are heavy (definitely solid brass as advertised), and the chrome finish is excellent. They each came in their own box, complete with teflon tape, and extra rubber washers for each. They installed easily, and all the threads lined up correctly. Had to re-install one which dripped from the joint, but that was my installation, not the product (I didn't use enough of the included tape - I'm not a plumber - but there was plenty of tape for a second try, and now it's perfect). They look so much nicer than the plastic ones, and I expect them to be the last shower head holders I ever have to buy for these bathrooms. The handheld shower also fits much more firmly and securely into these than it did into the plastic ones (probably because these do not bend and deform easily like the plastic ones do). If I ever needed these again (and based upon the quality of these I expect that I will not because they will last forever) I would not hesitate to buy these again. Just pay the extra $15-18 bucks for these solid brass fixtures (verses getting the cheap plastic version), do it right, and never have to do it again!

Good old-fashioned (designed) in America quality!
I am blown away by the quality and attention to detail of this shower head holder. The quality of the materials used and craftsmanship exhibited in its construction hearken back to the days when you could purchase a product and just KNOW that it was a quality item, and would serve you well for a long time. It's something we rarely see anymore. That being said, my only wish to improve this item would be to have it manufactured here in the good ol' USA instead of in China. I'm sure that would drive prices up a bit, but I would still prefer products of this quality at higher prices over the inferior plastic garbage that we generally get from other countries. Lastly, if HammerHead Showers reads these, I'd like to request some additional designs in the HammerHead shower head offerings. I have very good water pressure and was afraid to order your shower head that is marketed toward helping people with low water pressure (thinking it might flay my wife's flesh from her body), and your other offering seems very limited in the spray patterns offered. So, unfortunately, I am forced to use the awesome HammerHead shower head holder and shower hose in conjunction with a cheap plastic shower head. Please expand your available shower heads to include more variety and features!

Very sturdy, but does not fit Moen.
I really like this showerhead holder. It has a good finish on it, it is very well made and sturdy, it is easy to install. There were just two problems with it though: 1. It only came with one o-ring, even though the directions said there should have been two. The one for the hose end was missing. Luckily my old o-ring still was in good enough shape to use. Disappointing that the one was missing though. 2. It does not fully accept a Moen showerhead even though it says in the description that it will. See the picture, you can see how far in it goes, which isn't far enough. It looks like the receiver isn't spread enough for it to go in as far as it should. Maybe I got a defective one. Anyway, because of those two issues I deducted one star.
