Very easy to use. Even my 7 yr old can make the badges with no help. You don't need any gadgets and extra pieces. It's much more safer than other badge making kits I've seen. You could even reuse it and change the pieces inside by opening the backside with a sharp knife.

These work well for making your own badges. They're thicker than what a button-maker will work with as the back has a thickness as does the front, but they work well enough. You can either insert a cut circle of paper, or draw directly on the inner side of the acrylic with acrylic markers and place some white backing. Only issue I have is with the pins on the back. They aren't secured to the acrylic backing so it can be hard to open them as they sink into the badge. I have opted to glue them to the acrylic so this doesn't happen.
