Ok, let me get out of the way, the preliminaries. Comes in dry ice, put in freezer until you ready to cook(good for 1 year). 3 days in refrigerator to thaw. About 2 hours to cook in oven. Need $10.00 electronic temperature gauge from amazon, electric $20.00 carver, and some au jus juice, if you want it(comes with great seasoning, just use about a third of the package on the roast) That's it. No more butchers, traveling, hoping to find a usda prime rib roast, or tomahawk ribeyes, kobe meat, etc.The best meat you will ever eat. Period. Tender, and flavor that you just can't get anywhere else. They age it, vacuum pack it with net, so you can have a prime rib roast whenever you damn want it. I will never again be denied the best meat in the world. Be ready to be consumed with thoughts of Prime Rib while at work, etc. Ha.Ha.Thank you Kansas City Steak Company.

High Quality
Kansas City Steaks never disappoint. If you can’t find a roast, this is a great option. Only downside is they are a little more costly than most you would find locally. The price of convenience you might say. Arrived a day sooner than was advertised, still frozen solid.

If I can't find a good one local, this is a decent choice.
I couldn't find a decent prime rib locally this year so I tried this one. It arrived frozen in a nice cooler with a dry ice pack. It was pretty good, but not the best I've ever had. Of course I didn't read the instructions, but you should probably remove the netting before cooking. It was more moist (prior to cooking) than I've seen from any other dry aged beef. This might be because it was frozen. Frozen meat will never equal fresh or aged.I would order one again, but the flavor level didn't really quite hit prime I'm used to. It was good, but I think I miss the bones and the artistry of displaying a prime rib with bones. 20 dollars a pound for beef might sound like a lot if you have never cooked a good cut for a lot of people. I don't think the price is too far out of line, but I would have liked to seen a little bit more marbling. I would put the cut of beef I received as more choice than prime.They included a spice packet which I did not use, but I will try it with a small steak in the future. Usually the flavor packets that come with meat taste like crap plus MSG.All in all, it was a pretty good roast.

Great Way to Get High Quality Prime Rib Roast and a Reasonable Cost
This was my first time ordering a roast on line. It's hard to get good prime grade beef at a reasonable price in California during the holidays. This was a great roast at a good price. It came without the bone so it was all meat and very little waste. I had a bunch of meat lovers over and they all loved it.I highly recommend it.

Best prime rib ever. Made this with twice baked potatoes, dinner rolls and green beans. Yummy
