Works as advertised
The media could not be loaded. I bought an NTC thermistor to limit the inrush current. My initial testing with a desktop power supply had no issues but when I connected it to the 12vdc battery it blew fuses. I thought it might be something related to this device and a battery so I placed a dc-dc booster between the controller and the battery which helps but still can blow a fuse when you first connect power. May take the booster out of the picture now that I have the thermistor. Not sure what is drawing so much current initially... could be the motor or this dc controller. Anyway, it is very easy to use. The switch is a little hard to get to in my application and so I may be altering that but for now it works very well. Just got it so can not rate the longevity. Plus, I may have limited the longevity with my abuse with early connections and fuse blowing...I will say this: I'll get another one if this one quits working.

Works perfect
I purchased these not expecting a whole lot out if them but I have a DC brush motor and gearbox from one of my old wheelchairs in my shop that I use as a wench with a cable and pully system when I need to lift something. The response is awesome turn the dial and change the speed. Now I can set things down gently every time without having to bump the motor off and on and struggling to lower stuff slowly and on target. I am glad I got these, and two of them for a very nice low price. This is an awesome deal. I'm building a conveyor to go from my garage to my back door at the kitchen to unload groceries. I'm going to use the second one to slow the conveyor so I can load and unload it with ease.

After using 4, do not buy.
Product failed on two applications of 18v maximum load after one use. I returned the first two, giving manufacturer the benefit of the doubt, and the same thing happened on the next two. Don’t waste your time or money. Product cannot even handle an 18v load.

Keep your kid safe when upgrading power wheels
This was super easy to set up and able to control the speed of sons power wheels that I converted to take Mikita batteries. The box doesn’t make any noise like some of the other products out there. The quality of it is great. It was able to fit perfectly in my son’s power wheels with no problem. Also for the price you can go wrong. It is a great value don’t hesitate get this because it’s nice to be able to control the speed of power wheels.

Used to dim 24v DC landscape lights.
I have about 25 landscape lights on a 24v DC 5amp transformer. Everything worked but the lights were a bit bright for my taste and the transformer was loaded and running warm. The lights are nonpolar leds that can operate on AC or DC power. They are listed as non dimmable which is true. I tried using a dimmable led transformer/driver and it did not work. This PWM motor controller works great as a dimmer for these landscape lights. Not only could I adjust the brightness to my taste but it also unloaded the transformer. It's running much cooler. The whole system uses less power now. Very happy. Oh, and the unit is running coll and stable. No flickering at all.

Working great easy to wire-its miniature size frame is alittle hard to mount inside an enclosure
Easy to wire-2 wires in + & - and 2 wires out + & - to motor. Working great to run a 20 volt gear motor. Speed control is has lots of range changing speed precise and slowly. Its miniature frame size is a little hard to mount inside an enclosure

Some are great. Others...
I've ordered ones like this before and they work great even years later but there have been several over the years that don't last at all like as soon as there is voltage flowing into it, you hear a pop. When you're lucky it's just the fuse you can replace it it's just inconvenient. Other times I've heard a pop and the fuse is fine but no good on the rest. Each time it was all hooked up correctly I've had it do it with 12 volt several times this most recent one was 56 volts but both are well within the range of what it's rated for. No load had been applied yet in any of the instances.
