I needed some new smart plugs for my media unit and as a previous user of tapo products, I knew I would probaby get on well with this power strip. I wasn't wrong! It was very easy to set up, with a quick automatic software update as part of that process. The tapo app is really intuitive and integrates all your smart products into one, and has lots of different control options including timers and holiday modes for lighting. As a bonus, this power bar is quite literally half the price of the equivalent four individual smart plugs. It also takes up less space than using a power bar with individual smart plugs, and the manual buttons are much more accessible (though I have to say I do constantly press the wrong button if I try to control anything manually instead of via the app).

Easy to set up and an effective way of installing 4 smart sockets at once. The app provides a lot of flexibility and shows the energy consumption for each device connected. Happy so far.

Tapo delivered always the best! with the option not only to monitor the consumption but also gives lot of benefits, from power protection, charge guard, schedule on and off and working perfectly with Alexa, last but not least, 750 C flame resistant (PC Material)! could not buy better! I think one of the key point is the visible savings, knowing how much energy your items are using, and cut the cost!really recommended ! Tapo the best.

I have moved away from other brands to Tapo as there products are easy to set up and reliable. Great value for money, a lot cheaper than comparable brands. A great multi socket plug where you can name and control easch switch through your house system (Alexa). Same size as a non-smart multi socket plug.

This is a game changer.I have other Tapo devices, but this unit is so versatile and with the energy data it's very useful. I have adapted my garden lighting through this and set the 'arrive at dusk' so when I come home in the dark I am greeted with the lights on.I hope a 6 way might be developed!

I use this in my office when working from home.I have it connected to a motion sensor to turn on in the morning when I enter the room then when there’s no power running to my laptop as it’s switched off all sockets are switched off.Bought as the plug socket is awkward to reach and I got sick of having to crawl under the desk to turn it on/off every day.Each plug socket can be switched manually on and off with a button or through the Tapo App.You can also schedule these to turn on and off automatically to save power, as well as monitor the energy output.Really easy to connect to the app so well worth the price.The design is fairly compact - I do think having a bit more room between plug sockets would be more beneficial for ease of use taking them out but they do all fit and I’ve got some big plugs.

Apple home user and really impressed. This was super easy to set up using the Apple home app. It works perfectly and is very responsive for on / off control. No energy monitoring without the TaPo app but I don’t need it personally. Automations and scenes work as expected. Built in surge protection is a great plus too. Plugs can all be independently controlled or bundled and grouped together. The 4 plug strip is great value for money and much cheaper than buying 4 independent smart plugs. While it’s only day one for me… I’m really happy with this!

Full control and energy monitoring within the app, however no Energy monitoring available via Matter on Firmware: 1.0.5 with no information as to when they will upgrade the firmware to support Matter V1.3 which is required for Matter energy monitoring
