Just as described, very sturdy would buy again.

I wrote and deleted my original review from this month that said 'So disappointed. The beach was a little wet but it still shouldn't matter. The metal broke on a routine scoop. My return window closed 18 days ago so I am pretty upset. I do NOT recommend this brand.'The seller contacted me offering a refund and then replied that the refund was complete, so I deleted my original review, but I never received the refund from the seller. Here is my review again. The scoop got less then 2 hours of routine use before it broke and just from the weight of the sand.

This product is pretty decent, though I feel it is really overpriced. I'm sure my husband will like using it. Inflation sucks!

Works great!

They product at first seemed very well made. I installed a wooden dowel and went for some metal detecting on the beach. After 30 minutes of detecting and digging, I felt a give. I assumed the dowel cracked at the screw, but after inspection, both sides of the top of the scoop had a clean crack down both sides.

This scoop is very thick gauge steel and it definitely feels like it. It is a good scoop that doesn't bend and has a spot for longer handles. The only downside is just how heavy duty it is. It isn't a do all scoop due to the heavy weight and sometimes it is better to have a plastic one for light duty but this one does it's job well. Overall my husband and I are happy with the product!
