From Smudgy to Glossy
What is it: I’m a long time user of Seche Vite quick dry top coat. Excited to try their smudge fixer, Seche Blur that is supposed to instantly correct smudges in your manicure.First Impressions: I like the matte black bottle that makes it stand out from their regular top coats. Has a good, standard brush. The product is on the thicker side compared to regular top coat.Experience: I have short, natural nails and only wear light colors on my hands. Hope you can see the product work in the photos. On my nails, I applied ridge filler, base coat, 1 layer sheer polish (OPI Baby Take a Vow) and a layer of top coat. Before it was entirely hardened, I pressed down pretty hard on my index finger and left a big smudge. I let it continue drying for about 5 minutes. Next, I applied the Seche Blur over the smudge. It’s thick and glossy formula filled in the smudge, greatly reducing it’s visibility and making it shine just like my other nails. I’m not exactly sure how it works, but “blurring” is an accurate description. You can still see the smudge if you are examining it, but mostly it’s smooth and reflecting light off the surface. It dried surprisingly fast! Final Thoughts: As someone who can’t sit still and tends to paint my nails before bed, where the sheets can leave smudges, I totally recommend this. 5/5

Very thick, does disguise imperfections
I really like Sèche products in general so was interested to try this one. I’m a little confused as to what’s different about this top coat vs. others which also, let’s face it, go some way to covering up smudges and dings on the polish below, but I guess this one achieves some kind of blurring effect somehow, and is thick enough (while also being self-leveling) that it can fill in dents and make brush marks etc. less visible. It is REALLY thick, though, and is kind of stringy when it comes out of the bottle. I feel like it will quickly get unmanageably thick after a few uses (since top coats in general tend to thicken up pretty quickly), but luckily Sèche makes a thinner for their products that should help with that.

Works but don't overdo it
I used this product to fix a rather large ding in my dry polish. Which may have been asking alot but surprisingly this really helped. Because the ding was large i used plenty of this polish mender. It caused the old polish to become gummy and it actually made the nail look better. The problem was on my side because instead of leaving it alone i used more mender polish and it became too gummy . So my recommendation is let it dry completely before adding any more because it messes up the nail with too much product. It has a strong chemical smell but it isn't one i dislike. But if you are overly sensitive make sure to stay in a well ventilated area.

Seche Blur Polish Corrector
I've never used a polish corrector before, didn't know such a thing existed! This blur product is a thick consistency, clear "mistake mender" in a nail polish bottle with an applicator. It goes on like nail polish but it is quite thick. I find it difficult to get a thin coat.I used this in a couple ways:First to fill a funky thin spot in my nail that is typically obvious under polish. It worked pretty well for that and nearly completely filled it so it was not so noticeable.Second, I used it on a fresh polish smudge, I got a big fingerprint in my tacky polish and put this right over it immediately and I could no longer see the fingerprint. The problem is it takes a long time to dry- at least a couple minutes and I mucked up my fixed mistake just trying to see if it was dry yet. So wait at least 3 minutes before testing if it is dry or you'll be fixing it again like me!

I am a HUGE Seche fan, and this product is one of their best!
This top coat is a total game changer! I tend to smudge or dent my nails while they’re drying, and this product smooths out all those imperfections effortlessly. It blends any mistakes and leaves my manicure looking flawless and glossy as if nothing ever went wrong. The formula is smooth and easy to apply, and it dries fairly quickly, which is a huge plus. It works like magic on both minor smudges and uneven finishes. If you’re someone who’s constantly messing up their nails like me, this product is a must-have in your nail care kit.

Good way to extend manicures or fix when you 'ruin' a nail
I don't get manicures weekly, maybe once every two to four weeks depending on whether I have broken any nails. When I get a manicure I have them cut them short and use a neutral color polish, to extend the life of my manicures I usually apply a top coat of a light color about four to five days after the manicure to reset the nails and freshen them up; usually a week later I remove the polish, trim my cuticles and try to paint them myself. This mistake blender is perfect for all stages of nail maintenance for me.At the time of the order it was $9.99 for the bottle which is reasonable because you are not using a lot - unless you are ruining more than a nail or two when the color is wet.

It works!
This works to blur small imperfections like dings, dents, fingerprints, etc. It works best if you get to it right away. I also think it is less noticeable on lighter polish. If you have dark polish and the ding or scrape is down to the nail, it will be visible. It also works to eliminate brush drag marks and self levelling issues with quick dry polishes.

Wow
If you’ve ever painted your nails only to bump something and mess up a nail, then you understand the importance of this. Instead of having to remove and start all over, you simply swipe some of this on the blue the dried polish with a new coat. I’m impressed with just how well it works and is a complete time saver!
