Works great
Great product with a great result. I mistakenly asked our decorator to paint an oak cornice, forgetting that a few metres of it had to be left as bare oak. I had already resigned myself to having to source more of the same cornice when I gave this a go. Works a treat. Application is easy (albeit messy - think cream cheese consistency), cover, then sit tight. After 6 hours the paint just wiped away basically. A got the rest of the bits out of the grain with an old toothbrush and water. The product smells quite nice (sad I know), a bit like a body cream. lol. highly recommend this though it is quite pricey but way more pleasant than aggressive strippers or heat guns.

As explained
It does strip away the paint , however it doesn’t stick to the sheets so requires to manually remove with spatula never the less it probably save me time as I wouldn’t of been able to strip back the wall paint within a day or so . It works fairly quickly . . Does leave a sticky residue

Messy but effective
A good product if a bit messy. This product went on well even in those tricky areas and lifted off ok. Trick is to remove paint layers with plastic coat! Was a bit messy and thin coatings did have a tendency to dry out. Relatively low odour which was handy

Not much better than most paint removers on vehicle parts - just a tiny bit less messy
Tried this on a couple of motorcycle tanks, hoping that the result might involve less scraping than is the norm with automotive finishes. It works well in removing paint, but no amount of careful moulding of the plastic blanket (and believe me I tried this a few times), or time left will result in peeling off all but the flat surfaces of the paint. A scraper cannot be avoided for complete removal. Its impact on polyester based body filler is quite impressive and it will remove it, but it still requires multiple applications to remove anything more than very thin (think paint thickness) skims of filler. To sum up, its not the miracle easy to use and low mess paint remover that the marketing will lead you to believe, as you will still need to scrape off many areas that have complex shapes, but it does impact filler well and it does seem to remove all forms of old paint - including 2-pack finishes. The cost is significantly more than most high quality paint strippers and it takes as much time and effort, so on balance, its a choice I'd only go for on large flat uncomplicated surfaces and the cost will have me reaching for the Nitromors most times.

Great at removing many layers
I carve and restore village signs that are painted and this stuff is brilliant at getting into those 'hard to strip places' revealing the detail. I've used it on a number of these oak signs and it doesn't damage the wood. It lifts multiple layers of paint in one go. No it doesn't all stick to the cover but the remains come away easily and can be washed off and scrubbed with a tooth brush on the most delicate parts. It's not cheap but I've learnt that you pay for quality. I would recommend it for any 'relief' carved wooden work.

Not what it advertises, messy product, impossible to cleanly remove
First order never arrived, ordered another pot. When used it melted and dissolved not only the paint I was trying to remove, but also plaster under, liquifying, it was incredibly hard to remove and just became a total conglomerate mess, it has ruined the panel I was trying to strip, thankfully it was only a test panel for more work that I need to complete, but I think anyone needing this product would best be off using a standard paint stripper, it is clearly not what it advertises, and it certainly does not just "peel off".

Poor Value
This didnt work for me as expected on Brickwork. I applied with a depth of at least a couple of mm of the paste on an outside sheds brickwork that looked like somebody had previously wiped clean their paint brushes on. The area i managed to cover with this smal pot of 750g was about 3 feet bt 2 feet. I found that after applying the paste the over blanket thats provided to cover the paste would not stick and hold as well as i thought it should. I left for 72 hours and peeled off the blanket and found almost none of the paste had held to it so then had to scrape off with a metal scraper followed up with an electric drill with an attached stripping disc to remove as much of the remainder of the paste as possible and then using a stiff brush and hot water. A really messy job and only a small amount of the paint has actually been removed so an almost total waste of money in my experience and i cannot recommend this .

It works pretty good!
This product saves alot of time!. We used this on painted beams and it took the majority off. We still had to sand a bit after but this product dies the initial work. Would definitely use again.
