I gave a neutral rating for "pain relief" because I don't have any pain in bed. I tend to buy hot water bottles to keep warm: I'm strange like that.It's a nice, soft bottle, holds a good amount of water, and stays warm throughout the night. Only two negatives: firstly, the aperture for adding hot water is small. You need a *very* steady hand, or else use a plastic jug with a pointed lip for filling. Secondly, I don't see the point in those weird bobbles. I carefully cut them off and they're now looking great on the crocheted llama that my wife mde for me! He thinks he looks pretty cool!

This is one of the best hot-water bottles that I have used. Yes, you pay for the quality but you get a bottle that releases heat over a longer period than ones that are less as fluffy.It releases its heat slowly, which makes it last almost all day.I take it from overnight use in bed to wearing in the back of my house coat all day, while I work.The design is good. It does have a luxury look and feel; however, the balled tassles get in the way when emptying after use. They can get wet if one fails to keep them out of the way. I would cut them off, as I can't see the use for them, but the bottle would look less as cute. :-)I recommend highly.
