Pretty good balm, standard with basic ingredients that are higher quality than a random shelf balm. I liked the smell and the simplicity of them, though I have to make sure to store it in a cool area, and warm it up in my hands before application. Good product!

I really wanted this to work.Everyone's pain is different and it may work for you but for me, this just felt like grease. While the ingredient panel lists the ingredients water, rosemary leaf extract, ginger root extract peppermint extract and arnica Montana flower extract, it says nothing of the grease base holding it all in there. The scent is not offensive - just sort of meh - like a barely perceptible gardenia. There is not the tiniest scent of ginger, rosemary or peppermint. Products containing peppermint have a cooling effect (I use a spray bottle with peppermint to tame hot flashes). This product had no effect, except making my hand extremely greasy.I know that arnica is supposed be an analgesic. I have a very sore thumb joint and applying the balm provided no relief at all. Worse, it didn't absorb into the skin, rather just stayed on top like I had been digging into a can of Crisco.For me, it's a strong (and sadly still painful) Thumbs Down.
