Nice to give to kids when they graduate college need to navigate life now

arrive earlier than expected. looks beautiful and well made. the only problem is east and west are incorrect. if facing east it says west and vice versa. went outside just in case something inside was blocking reading but it still points in wrong direction. north and south are accurate. bought it as a gift. will see if we can figure it out otherwise we'll have to return it. sad face

Great craftsmanship. I was very impressed by this compass and its quality build. It has a nice weight to it and is made of a dense material that feels high quality. The compass itself functions well.As a gift, it is a very impressive piece. The quote was a huge hit with the recipient and it will be a great keepsake for years to come. I however was not a big fan of the leather pouch and chose not to include it with the compass when gifted. The pouch itself is a nice leather, but I do not like the brand name embossed into the leather as I think it takes away from the clean, high quality of the entire package.I highly recommend!

This was a gift for a co-worker who is retiring after 42 years. I was looking for something that was artistic, functional, with quality material and appropriate for someone entering a new phase in life. The size was perfect and it works wonderful. I had to make a box to present and store it, which added a personnel touch. When my son graduates from college, I plan to likewise gift him with a Neovivid compass. There was also a small sand-timer on a keychain included that could be attached to the compass - it was perfect.

I have to say I was very impressed with this gift. The engraved words are just perfect for anyone who is graduating high school or college were military. It was a quality gift I received a very nice note from the Lil company that hand makes these items. My nephew loved this gift. I was very impressed with the quality of this item and I would definitely buy this again in the future.

I'm excited to give it to my granddaughter for graduation. It is good looking but not so fancy that it won't get used.
