Why did you choose this product over others?:"Why did I choose this product over others". Hmmm good question; well primarily due to reading many overall reviews in the comments section. The initial price from Amazon was stated as £135 for a black one but on closer inspection there is/should be a picture box below with a light brown one and for the same model mysteriously the price dropped to £97 so went for that; well why not :)Filled it up to the max line inclusive of additional 3 litres of boiled kettle water and the temp started at 32 deg C. If you don't do that ya might be gone some time waiting for temp to get to a reasonable level. I timed how long it took to go from 44 deg C to 45 deg C which was 3.5 mins. From the initial 32 deg to 44 deg I didn't time it exactly but likely was around 10 mins. Note it takes longer to heat warmer water than colder due to environmental evaporation and kinetic energy of the water :)To be fair to the unit it has a humble 500W (half Kw) heater compared to a kettle of 2 to 3 Kw.Comes with 4 plug in wheels added by you on opening. If you are thinking of emptying the unit at the end of session down the sink rather than draining at floor level via the built in rubber bung the combined weight of unit and water is 24lb or 11 kg.So functionally the modes are pretty straight forward. Temp up/down in 1 deg C increments. Power on/off. Timer in 10 min increments up to 1 hour. Massage rollers on/off, continuous or pulsed : 2 seconds rolling, 1 second off continuous cycling. They tickle to start off with but you soon get immune to it else turn off.The spa function as others have stated won't give you a jet blast by any stretch, more water agitation which helps circulate the water around the feet. In addition there is a small circular perforated dispenser in the middle that you can put a small amount of epsom salts or smellies for the ladies :) lest you just mix in the water at the start. This is where the spa function/ water agitation comes in useful. So findings : I am a bloke with size 10 feet; water barely covers the very bottom of ankle so don't expect a full ankle soak, probably higher if a lady with dainty feet. Water temp at 44 deg was good but as time progressed and temp rose to 47 deg the feet start getting a bit toasty and skin slightly red. But for me the aim was achieved with soft skin at the end and softened nails. Skin removal and nail cutting is so much easier afterwards. There is a large red led light that illuminates in spa mode but you will find when on that it is pretty obvious as the spa motor is responsible for the noise about the same as a hair dryer on medium setting. When off and just the massage rollers running they emit a quiet rumble. All the best; Happy feet.

Amazing at loosening tight muscles
This is amazing! Been debating for ages about purchasing, then after seeing demonstrated on QVC took the plunge. Amazon was less expensive, and another 20% off, free postage plus ordered 10.30pm and it was delivered the next day. Brilliant service. The device itself is well made, sturdy, I was little worried about the weight on my neck but honestly doesn’t feel heavy at all when in use. Love the option of different heat/pressure settings and comfort of use, it feels like someone’s actually massaging my shoulder - I have long term shoulder problems and constant pain - this has helped so much with pain relief. Love the enclosed leaflet showing other body parts it can be used on, would have never thought of calf muscles It’s on my list as one of my best buys

A good machine with one draw back
This machine has helped a huge amount in relaxing the muscles in my back. I started using it twice a day and now I am down to using it once a day and I have noticed a large improvement since I started using it.I chose this massage pillow over the vast others on sale on Amazon mainly for the following two reasons, multiple speeds and reverse direction. The multiple speeds have not been of any real benefit and I always use it on the fastest speed which in its self isn't fast. The reverse direction feature is also not really that useful as you could just rotate the pillow and achieve the same effect. However these features are there if you so need them.My only one complaint is with the power cable. The power connection to this device is located at the machine end which means that you can easily disconnect the power whilst moving the machine to a new location, highly annoying and a poor design choice. The power cable could also do with being a bit longer.Other than my niggles with the power cable I would recomend buying a massage pillow if you have any muscle tightness especially in the back. I also really like the heat feture which can take a good 5 or so minutes to warm up, but when it does it helps relax the muscle whilst it is being worked on.

Very good!
I have sore / tight shoulder muscles from lifting weights, and although I have frequent sports massages, I thought I'd give this a try for the 'in betweens'.For the money this is really very good! It's not soothing, in fact I used it 3 times in one day and felt a little bruised. May have overdone it! The heating of the nodules is also very good.It can be a little awkward to position as it's quite heavy. I've also used it on my feet as I suffer with plantar fasciitis. For the money this is a very good gadget and I'd recommend it.

Great for Haglund Deformity and Plantar Fasciitis
I got this yesterday as act of desperation as I suffer from Haglund Deformity and Plantar Fasciitis in both feet. I wouldn't say the massage is the mist pleasant experience, however, it appears to be doing the trick. I did 30 mins on all the lowest levels and my feet feel really good today. I am just doing a 30 min session on all the medium settings. I intend to do a couple of sessions a day, one at lunch time and one before bed. I just hope it doesn't break. A bargain at £80 if it gets me walking properly again. At this stage I would highly recommend this.
