This candle is amazing. I had purchased it at a boutique and was pleasantly surprised to find it on amazon at a slightly better price. The smell is amazing--it smells up your entire house. I burn my candles constantly and this burned a long time for its size. It has a clean fresh but powerful smell. If you have never tried it before, please do. You will not regret it!

Love the scent. So much a fragrance than other candles which sometimes don’t have any aroma

I just ordered my third Black Forest Candle -- the first was a gift, and I ordered the next two via Amazon. The scent is one of the best I've ever had. As an older male, I've used hundreds of candles (being in touched with my feminine side, as my wife ls me anyway. I don't know what a black forest smells like -- but this candle is just vaguely "male" yet in no ways overpowering or really leathery or oaky or whatever male is. It's not wimpy either -- a room can quickly fill with the aroma, which is distinctive, and far from the typical store-bought candles which might be cheaper but in a way different, poorer league. Black Forest also lasts -- I don't tally hours, so who knows if it's 50 or not. But I'm in no ways disappointed. This has become my favorite candle, my wife loves it, and as long as they're made, I'll order. There's no exaggeration here, just genuine praise for a candle that is really worth the price.This second-round purchase had a 'greasy' problem of some kind (this addendum as of 8-9-20). Not a horrendous issue, but the surface of the candle was more than waxy: as though coated with a grease that made even the metal container slippery and black on my fingers. Disappointing, as these are by far my favorite candles.

High quality candle that you can bring with you. When you travel. It’s in a tin. I put mine on a candle warmer instead of lighting the wick.

This candle is so fragrant. I absolutely love whole room still smells of it even after you blow it out. This might be too strong for some but I like my house smelling good amd the price point is great! It is very similar to Baies by Diptique. My only con is it arrived with a smudged ink top label so wouldn't have been able to gift it to someone.
