This turbo system leak tester worked exactly as advertised and made diagnosing boost leaks much easier. The tool fits securely and seals well, allowing pressure to build without any issues. It helped quickly identify small leaks that would have been difficult to find otherwise, saving time and frustration. The construction feels solid and durable, and setup was straightforward. Overall, it’s a very effective diagnostic tool and a great addition to any garage working on turbocharged vehicles.

Seems like a quality item. I’m in the heavy construction equipment field and have used it a few times so far since getting the kit. The plugs feel sturdy and like that each one can fit multiple sizes of intakes, which make them pretty versatile. They seal good when holding pressure. I do wish the relief in the regulator wouldn’t pop off as early as it does, but I can modify it if needed. Definitely recommend.

I pressurized my Evo X using this kit with a smoker. Doing so allowed me to find a leak quickly on my intercooler piping, of which I never would have found without this kit.

The edges of the plugs are a sharp 90. no radius on them. So if you tube is tight you could damage the ID of it trying to slide it on. There is not a rib or barb on these, hoses can slip off if you dont the hose clamp supper tight. I had a hard time trying to get 40 psi built up until I really torqued down on the hose clamps

Not used it yet but, it's made from hard plastic. I wouldn't tighten clamps to tight. Appears to be a goo# tool.

This leak tester will work fine from boot to boot, and does not come with a boot to connect directly to the turbo. The connectors are not standard air fitting connections and you have to use the supplied hose.
