Nextbase 380GW 1080p HD Dash Camera Commerical Use with Wi-Fi GPS, 2.12M Pixel, 90 Degree Vertical Adjustment

I bought this Nextbase 380GW because it didn't have a screen and is attached to my windscreen with a 3M sticky pad so is very discreet. I've hidden it behind my rear view mirror and it's perfect for what I want. I was slightly concerned that maybe the angle of the camera wouldn't be right because it's primarily aimed at van drivers but it fits perfectly on my Passat windscreen. Video quality day and night is staggeringly good and downloading to either my mobile (via its built in wi fi) or PC is a piece of cake. Power cable is long enough for me to plug this in the rear passenger cigarette socket. Don't know how reliable it will be as have only had it working for a month but so far I'm very happy with my purchase and am considering getting one for the rear window.

Frustrating!!!After some months using this dashcamera, I have some considerations.Good:Design, small, easily hidden,no screen to bother you (for me is really good and elegant).Bad:Image is with their logo which you can take out, then you can not share videos and pic with friends or social media without make some ad for NEXTBASE.Turn off by itself even if you are in the middle of the trafficBlock recordings every time you turn your car on which make your card full in a few weeks. You have to keep checking it.Very very badTheir app is a sh***You must go to your device (phone or tablet) settings every time in order to choose the Nextbase connection.You must do it many times, close the app and open again and again. Very hard to connecting wifi.Once you are connected, you can try to download its videos, but be fast, otherwise it will switch off and bye bye video.Impossible to download 2 videos at same time.Once you download it (after many hours and attempts), you can finally share with your friends...but, the image quality is incredibly bad, the app converts it in something that you won’t share with nobody.Expensive for what it offers. Bad images, turn off itself, wifi doesn’t work, app useful

Make sure you have everything you need with this purchase, Micro sd card, battery and hard wire kit you'll need this if you don't have a cigarette lighter in your car. It cost me and extra £60 pound for these things.

Brilliant and so necessary these days. Fits easily, I used the hard wire kit. I do think this is a bit pricey for what it is, but could save you a massive headache if the worst happens with someone who lies about their action in an accident. Look really good on the window and is very unobtrusive.

No screen on this camera The tephone app needed to access video footage is rubbish Constantly refuses to connect with the camera. Complaints go back for over twelve months but nothing is done
