These hold good and the clips work great. I am finding places to use these all over. The clips allow enough room to bend open to slide a cord inside with then not breaking. The foam tape that comes with this is great as well. Easy to pull off the strip and apply to the clip. The problem starts when you need to remove the backing off the tape. Maybe it is my old eyes (45 years) or that I keep my nails trimmed, but I have a hard time getting the backing off. I found that my razor blade does allow me to catch the corner a but better, but still a bit of a pain. I wish I could give this a 4.5 rating.

Tried to use these inside my vehicle for running cables in a few places where I can't hide it. The adhesive won't stick to the hard surfaces. Was hoping I could use these for several different applications, but for anyone who says this adhesive is strong hasn't used it. I was hoping, as a supposed 3M backing, the adhesive would be strong enough to actually clip a wire in. It wasn't. Once the clip is on the surface, the simple act of even gingerly trying to put a wire in it, causes it to come loose. Very disappointed. Do not waste your money.

Used these to keep the dash cam wire from hanging in the middle of my car lolWorked really good on the glass, the textured parts of the plastic on my car wouldn’t let them stick at all so I found smooth spots or metal spots I could stick them too. So much nicer than the cable just dangling. Only needed ~14 pieces so I have more for other projects 👍🏻

The adhesive is poor. I have a mess of wires inside a cabinet where entire audio visual component systems resides. These clips were supposed to align the wires along the cabinet walls and top - nope. They all came undone. I also used these to hang some fairly light weight candle holders on a wall, they fell off (scratched the wall). Grr. I’d suggest getting either a larger type, or be very careful of the amount of weight you ask these to support, or very selective what you stick them to (perhaps other surfaces allow better adherence).

I had doubts, but the 3M adhesive does work. There is another review that states how it did not stick "in the car." Automotive dashboards and auto-interior materials are made from a special plastic, and usually nothing at all will stick to it. I used these for wiring for under cabinet lights. It sticks to the wood cabinet just fine, better than expected. It will not come off.

My desk hosts 2 computers, a cable modem/router, telephone, blood pressure monitor, etc. So as you can well imagine I have cables and wires everywhere, ergo, these Upgraded Cable Clips are wonderful for taming and hiding cables. They are easy to stick in place and once stuck, they stay in place. I also use them in conjunction with other rings and clips to hold my oxygen tubing up away from children and pet feet.

There are so many of these that come with the adhesive attached, but these require you to remove the adhesive from a pad, then stick it on the back of the clips and THEN - here's the hard part - peel off the adhesive so it will stick wherever you want to put it.Trying to peel it off is crazy - I have to use a tiny tweezer to get it off. Better off buying 3M!

had to return these, as they are much tinier than I perceived from the images. It handles only a very thin gauge of cord and is much too small to support an extension cord, which I would consider a medium gauge cord. I wouldn't get this for anything thicker than Christmas light wires or USB/phone cords. 3.5 stars for quality--the opening is pretty tight so should hold a cable pretty well but the plastic was thinner than I expected, not sure how it would stand up to long-term use.
