This is a petty good battery super simple to install. You just need a heat gun to remove the old battery. it’s really affordable way better prices than apple itself. Only thing I don’t like my battery won’t Charge to 100%. maybe it’s defective. Other than that it gives very long battery life. I would buy it again

Old battery wouldn't hold a charge for very long. Purchased this battery and haven't had anymore issues at all. Received in good time and was easy to use.

My iPad stopped charging, so I ordered this. Don't know if it will fix the problem, but it seemed like a reasonable cost-effective place to start. I couldn't find the model number on my iPad, so I had to look it up by the serial number. Don't know why this should be. It turned out to be A1489 (EMC 2695*). I did a lot of online research before ordering. There was some question about the battery connector, but this appears to be to be the correct one. Different kits have different style tools. I decided this one was the best bet, so I ordered it. After it came, my iPad started charging again. Since I use my iPad a lot (for Uber driving), I decided to keep the kit so I would have a spare ready and did not install it. My main disappointment was that there were no instructions. They say to contact them, but that shouldn't be necessary. There are some online, but all show different tools. The hardest step appears to be opening the case which is glued shut. This involves heating the case with various methods. I still have the kit on stand by if needed.

Product was exactly as described and although I was concerned that installing might be a significant challenge, I found that after careful review of YouTube video instruction, the process was relatively straightforward.I was delighted when my iPad came ‘back to life’ after the installation was complete but was concerned that on attaching to a charging cable, the battery indicator did not register that the unit was charging. I wrote an email to the manufacturer of the battery and they responded with helpful guidance immeddiaty (late on a Saturday afternoon) and indicated that should I continue to have problems they would be happy to replace the battery with a new one.Delighted with product (so far), ease of installation and unexpectedly great customer service!

Battery life is abysmal! I must’ve gotten a bad one but it’s terrible, lasting a few hours at most. The instructions aren’t as helpful as they could be either. I think I ended up using iFixIt’s guide instead. I don’t see an option to return it but I must be outside the return window.Just a bad experience all around...

The box comes with no instructions. Watching you tube videos on how to install made it seem way out of my area of expertise. I didn’t want to damage it by trying to install the battery and end of having to buy a new iPad so I took it to a iPad fix it business who installed it for $60. iPad works great now!

iPad battery was glued to back of case and hard to remove. Plastic tools broke easily when taking case apart.

I wasn’t sure if my iPad was dead because of the battery or was just dead. The video tutorial helped. The process was confusing because some of the tiny screws were covered up. And they are tiny. Then all the adhesive including under the battery. With patience and going slow with tenderness but firm my iPad is working again! So glad I did it.
