I have been wearing Brooks Beast shoes off and on since 2001. Over the years, I have probably purchased six pairs. Even so, starting around 5-6 years ago, the perceived quality of these shoes went down. I am pleased to say the Brooks Beast GTS 21 is new, improved, and better than ever. I over pronate, and I deal with planter fasciitis + hammer toes. I have struggled to find comfortable, stylish shows for which to walk and exercise. These are the most comfortable shoes I have strapped on my feet in a long time. They give me the support and stability I need. They have even helped alleviate my ankle and knee pain. I am tempted to buy five pairs of these and hang onto them for future use. If you have foot challenges similar to mine, give these shoes a try. You will not be disappointed!

I’m 61 and I want to start running again. I’ve had several knee surgeries and have osteoarthritis in one ankle. These sneakers have made a world of difference for running. Truly remarkable.

I love walking with these shoes, I feel like I have a better stride. There's lots of support at the heel where I need it, and they feel very light and comfortable. They also lift me a bit off the ground, so it took me a moment to adjust as I wasn't used to wearing a shoe like that. However, I quickly got over it and I've felt more stability and balance and that's important as a big dude like myself. When I have long day of walking, these shoes helped me stay on my feet.

I'm a big guy and often have trouble finding good shoes. I have to say Brooks has become a more common name around my house as their thick cushion keeps my feet comfortable when I need to stand all day. They fit true to size and have a wide variety of options for uniquely sized feet. I haven't found a more comfortable shoe for the same or less money.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, but I’ve encountered two issues:Quick Absorption of Moisture: The fabric absorbs moisture very quickly, especially when walking on grass, making them less ideal for wet conditions.Durability of the outer Sole: While the lower sole is extremely soft and comfortable, it tends to wear out rapidly. After less than four months of use, I’ve already noticed visible damage.

After 7-12 years of running using multiple brands, insoles, methods, procedures, asking questions, going to running stores and even asking runners. I can NEVER get a clear understanding of what shoe I need or fit and doing short runs from 3-6 miles to some half marathons, my feet where either killing me, or my knees and ankles couldn't last. I felt so lost and no matter who asked even the local running shops they would do some calculations and bring me a few shoes to try on and I would buy what I thought would work only to get disappointed again. So funny thing is one of those shoes was a Brooks Ghost 16 which off the bat was doing better then all my Nike's and other Brands combined.So I got some great insoles after testing 13 different ones and 4 weeks in, I'm starting to get worn and uneasy. I come back here on Amazon and other sites and try to see if another Brooks Shoe will be better. Because let's be real, they felt great for a minute. So I did the "BROOKS SHOE FINDER" system and it led me to this Glycerin GTS 21 and WOW! WOW! So soft and plush for my style! It worked right out of the gate! Now at 19 miles combined with10 days in since purchased I am relieved of how well this shoe works, it's extremely comfortable for my type of gait, feet pattern, and style. I feel like I'm running on clouds!!Even better I can't wait to do 13 miles next! I'm ready to tackle my first Half Marathon with maybe no stopping or small stops..... THANK YOU BROOKS!! These are great. I hadn’t ran for a couple of years due to illness. I tried these on in a running shop and they videoed my run. It had altered my over pronation and my run felt amazing. So I bought the pair in the shop and tried them for two weeks, they were excellent, so I bought a 2nd pair off of Amazon.Excellent product that has me loving my running again.
