The Coffee Roaster's Companion by Scott Rao (2014-05-04)

After reading this book I felt like I have a good foundation of knowledge to start roasting. I will definitely refer back to this book regularly as I practice my roasting skills. Fully recommend! Thanks Scott!

Scott Rao, manages to condense things into bite size peaces that I consider well worth the cost of the book, I think some other criticisms of the price are a nonsense, information in this book is precise, practical and something you can put into play immediately and IMHO not information widely available, if at all elsewhere. I'm not lending this book to anyone ! Already read it twice and each time a little more filters through, thanks Scott!

very informative-concise and excellent reference book for the future

Great book! A MUST HAVE for anyone roasting coffee!The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 is because I think it is priced a bit high.

Very insightful and easy to read and understand.I bought this when considering getting into home roasting.

An awesome guide to roasting. Very deep analysis, with easy to understand language, though.
