Fit well, comes with double-sided adhesive foam. Good increase in door strength, especially for thinner hollow doors. I think it's a good buy. Finish is good as well. Good thickness.

Great product and solid solution for strengthening the knob area of hollow core doors and was easy to install. Satin nickel finish matched knobs perfectly. Item has a nice weight to it.

Are nice quality easy to install and worked well. They come with 3M self adhesive matching shaped gaskets, with an extra included. The metal is security worthy thick, but not too thick. We used it on our outside rear gate, with the 2x6 lumber was too thin for a traditional exterior locking door know/handle. Adding this not only matched the handle but increased the thickness and added strength it the installation. It was packaged well and arrived in normal time. Recommended.

The door plate is solid and strong and it worked as designed. Fortunately, I only needed one of them, as the second in the box had an unacceptable paint job on both sides and is not useable.

This is exactly what I was looking for. My office door is in the basement and it’s a thin wooden door that is required to be locked while I’m working due to company policy. The lock I have on the door is a smart lock, but unfortunately anytime I try to turn the handle it will pivot up or down depending on which way I go and I used wooden shims PVC shims and anything I can find to try to get that to stop. This two piece of metal plate was perfect cause then I can put the lock right on there which does compress against the lock and it’s so easy to put on with the included 3M strips perfect standard size cylinder plate. Even has extra 3M sheet and you can use the centerpieces are left over for other projects. Perfect product, great price, great quality

At the time of receiving the item, the white plates were $14.36 CAD, while the black were $9.99. I'm giving this four stars because I think ~$15 is too expensive, $10 feels like a much better price for this item. I ordered these in order to repair damage to one of the doors in our home. It appears as though someone had slammed the door hard at one point, and damaged the wood around where a doorknob would attach -rendering it unusable. I've been looking for a way to address the issue without having to replace the whole door. When browsing around I noticed this product, and thought they might be the answer to my problem. After installing the plates I have been able to strengthen the area and fill in where material is missing, so I can finally attach a doorhandle, knowing it will also be strong enough to last. The metal squares are stamped steel, and well finished -there aren't any sharp edges, and the paint used is either a powder coating, or something else that feels quite rugged. To my surprise, the foam adhesives provided for attaching the plates are manufactured by 3M. In my opinion 3M produces the highest quality adhesives, and these didn't disappoint. They secure the plates well, and several spares are provided in the package. If you're looking for a way to repair a damaged door I think these are an excellent way to do that, and would wholeheartedly recommend, though I wouldn't want to pay more that $15 for it.
