Joy Xtra Digital Version

I gave a Cricut Joy but wanted the Xtra so I could make bigger projects. Love it

If you’re looking into crafting with Cricut, this is your gateway to the wonderful world of arts and crafts. Very easy to use and Cricut makes it easy to get started. Instead of going into it with a much priced cutter, purchase the Joy Xtra and see how it goes. If you grow out of it, then upgrade to a bigger faster machine.

I resisted buying this machine, since I have the original Cricut Maker, and didn’t really “need” this, per se. However, I was attending a crafting group session and didn’t want to lug around my huge machine. Enter the Joy Xtra. I love it! It does most of what my big machine does in a smaller package. I chose this one over the Joy because of the added features - print then cut, scoring, etc. (I bought this before the Joy 2 came out). I also enjoy the wider base - this fits a standard 8.5x11 piece of paper, offering more versatility than the 6” base size of the Joy. I think this is the perfect mix of portability and utility.

La maquina en si es muy buena, la utilizo para papeleria creativa, para cortar stickers, piezas para armar toppers de torta, etc; ademas me llego muy rapido.

I was so excited about getting a Cricut, but this one is a huge disappointment. It will not stay connected to Bluetooth and it is the only way to use it. It does not have other options to connect. I have tried and tried to find a solution, but nothing works. I have even tried connecting it to 2 different laptops and my phone. From researching the problem, many others are experiencing the same thing.

First time having a cricut, I believe it's okay. I bought it to make stickers, and after cutting out about 10 sheets worth the blade got dull and no longer cuts through cleanly. The only way to get a new blade is to order it only since no stores around me carry blades for the joy extra, only carry blades for the more expensive bigger cricuts. So thats a bummer. Haven't really played around with vinyl yet and I think it's crazy you have to buy a subscription just to use cricut. BTW it's $10.99 a month so if you can't afford another subscription dont bother getting this machine.

Ich finde es schon komisch, dass mir bei Amazon Deutschland kein Kabel mitgeliefert wird, dass ich benutzen kann! Ich musste das nachbestellen und nochmal Geld ausgeben! Kein guter Service!!!!

It’s easy to use, compact, and does exactly what I need without being overwhelming. I also use ChatGPT to help break down steps and directions when projects feel confusing or overwhelming, which has made crafting much more enjoyable and stress-free. This combination has worked really well for me.
