If you're thinking about getting this and reading the reviews as to whether or not this will do the job, just get it. It's neat, solid and is compatible with my tightly-gripped protective case.I accidentally dropped my Samsung Galaxy S8 out of my car and it scraped the pavement, damaging the screen with a few scratches. I decided to look for a decent screen protector product to prevent further damage.As long as you follow the instructions contained within the package carefully and install it precisely, you won't have any problems.I particularly like that the product comes with little wipes which freshens your phone screen before putting the protection on.The installation aid that is provided is great as it helps you place the protective cover properly, securely and precisely.In regards to the screen protector itself, it's solid and seems to be stuck to the screen well. The touch screen isn't effected at all and it is compatible with my protective case (which is one of the things I was most worried about). The screen itself is solid and I think it would take something stupidly heavy and strong to actually break it (let alone effect the screen).I do plan to use this manufacturer for future protective covers for future phones.100% recommended; just buy it. Follow the instructions carefully. (There's a tutorial on how to install it if you apply for the lifetime warranty).

I struggled with finding a decent screen protector for a curved screen (Samsung S8) but this one has been a game changer. I've tried soft ones where you apply them wet but found those really fiddly and poor results. The glass ones I'd used didn't always align well and even if they did there were always air bubbles or peeling on the curved edge.This one is different because it has this plastic applicator I've never seen before. Basically it's a plastic frame that sits tightlu around the phone and you use that to align the screen protector when you apply it.I had to watch the video a few times before I was confident but it's actually surprisingly easy to install. I don't know how it doesn't get air bubbles but it's the most reliable screen protector I've ever used I'm terms of installation. It's perfectly aligned with the camera and there's not a single bubble. You don't even need to do any of the pressing on the glass or seeing the air move under the glass.I've now bought my second one so gone through the process twice. It's worked perfectly both times so from the perspective of being easy to install I thought it was worth writing a review.In terms of how it performs I've not had any complaints with touch screen responsiveness although there's no fingerprint sensor on the screen. I've not had any accidents with the phone so I can't say how well it protects a lot of impact but seems fine for general use.The only potential problem area could be adhesiveness. I put it on several years ago as was for my old phone which I was giving to my husband. He didn't end up using it till earlier this year however it hasn't taken very long for it to peel off. Because it was applied a long time ago it may have lasted for a while under normal use. I'll update the score and review if the second one lasts longer. Even if it only lasts 6 months it was so much better in other areas I'd still consider it against ones which last longer.Definitely worth considering if you struggle with curved screens protectors.

Edit (20.11.18): Accidentally dropped my phone and I'm thanking myself for biting the bullet and buying a protector! Side note, I can confirm that the sensitivity of my screen is lessened. Fullstops/periods appear in the wrong places when blind typing - not much of an issue still but worth clarifying.Now let me start off by saying that I don't often write reviews. But not even 1 hour in, I felt the need to let others know the benefits and drawbacks to this screen protector.For basically £10, I highly recommend this for someone who just wants to add an additional layer of protection to your Galaxy S8 because it has very few negative effects*. I've never been a fan of screen protectors because I'm an OCD freak and the slightest misalignment or even a single bubble will make me take it off and toss it into the bin, never to be seen again. But because the S8 is the most expensive phone I have ever owned (not forgetting the ridiculous price for a replacement display panel) so I decided to take the chance and see if I could finally be able to keep it on for longer than 2 minutes.This protector is not only really straightforward in regards to the installation, it's application on the screen is even better too. The claim of it being glass, I'm going to say that it is genuine glass or at least a durable and resistant plastic.*the only 2 problems that I can think of are to do with the screen of the phone being curved and the sensitivity of the protector with the phones panel. I'm a pretty heavy Discord App user and because the S8 screen is curved, new message dots get wrapped around the screen as well. This protector limits whether I can see those dots or not and I have found a way to see the message dots which is turning the phone to the side and looking.*the second issue is the sensitivity of the 'dot matrix'. Whether it's just a case of my own error during the installation or if its the protector, I'm unsure. But as of typing this, I have made more spelling mistakes than I usually make. I have had 1 duplicated word while typing which makes this product lesser suited for someone who focuses on typing and doing it accurately. Again, this could be my own fault with not making a correct installation but I thought I would still share it nevertheless.My final conclusion is that for what it is worth, go right ahead and buy it. But please don't expect it to be a keeper.. It will stay on my S8 until it either breaks or I get a better one.I know this is a stupidly long review so I will briefly sum it up;Is it good for the price? Most certainly!Does it seem durable? Personally, it is too early to be 100% absolute on the durability but it feels like it will do the job.How is the touch response? Pretty good for the most part, minus the typing issues [might be my own error].Is it case friendly? Yup, my case fits it perfectly with no lift-up or anything that degrades the integrity of the protector.

This is my second time purchasing this screen protector. I've also tried a different one purchased off Amazon that had two screens for the same price but sucked...both fell off within a couple days, so went back to this one. This one is easy to install, stays put, and no touch screen issues. Recommended
