I received Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones as a white elephant gift at an office Christmas party. Although they were sealed in their original box, once opened it was quite clear that the headphones had been purchased some time ago and likely not stored properly since the soft material of the headband and ear pads has suffered some damage. Other than that, the headphones worked well. The sound quality is better than any of my previous headphones. Since this gift was ‘new to me’, I wanted to preserve it for as long as I could. I thought about purchasing replacement ear pads but I’m not the kind of person that can easily take things apart and put them back together again. So, I was lucky to find these silicone ear pad covers that would allow me to protect the ear pads from further damage. Because of the photo on the website, I originally thought they were a rigid hard shell but was pleasantly surprised to find that they are soft and malleable. They were easy to install, fit perfectly, and do an excellent job protecting the ear pads. I am so happy with this purchase.
